Napalm is, in laymans terms, jellied gasoline. It obviously makes one hellluvah fireball.It was used extensively in 'Nam, where the US military used it to burn away both jungle and enemy.
Apocalypse Now is set in Vietnam, and in it, some guy says "I love the smell of napalm in the morning ."(presumably after a napalm strike...I haven't seen the movie myself )
