Romeo and Juliet

He stared at her and kissed her. "I love you. I know I want to spend the rest of my life with you." he pulled her into his arms. "This might be difficult, Jules, but I swear I'll make it work. I swear to you." he promised.

"Are you sure? And when did you get... THAT?" she stared in shock at the diamond.

"It was my grandmothers, she didn't trust my mother, because she knew mom would sell it or soemthing so she gave it to me, to ask a girl that I loved very much to be my wifey." he smiled at the last part.

Juliet smiled up at him. "You are wonderful. thank you for giving me this...opertunity." she blushed. "I have a question thought..." She bit her lip.

"Yes?"

"Can we...wait, ya know, until we graduate before we make it official?" he pleaded.

"You know we can. I'll wait as long as you want me to." he promised.

"Are you sure this is OK?" she asked.

"Why wouldn't it be?" he smiled.

"I guess your right."

"I love you." he whispered before he kissed her.

Juliet melted in his arms. she just kissed him back. Finally, they were at his house. She went inside with him and smiled. "You sure me staying her is okay, my finance?" She grinned.

He laughed when he pullled on of her duffle bags into the house. "I'm postive my future wife." he walked in. "What and the hell do you have in this thing?" he asked.

"Dryer, straightener, curling iron, you know all that girly stuff." she smiled sweetly at him.

"Uh huh, sure." he rolled his eyes while he walked into.... THEIR room.

Juliet giggled. "We girls go through a lot to look nice." she teased as he dragged her first duffle into the room they would now be sharing. She had one more that he went back and pulled in. She looked at the two bags. It was all she had left. She'd have to find a job...She had no money, no way of supporting herself...She shook her head. Angel would take care of her...wouldn't he? After all, he was marrying her.

then a thought struck her: what would his sister think? Would she approve? would shebe mad?

"What about Sarah?"

"What about Sarah?"

"What will she think?"

Angel exhailed, "Sarah is a big girl I'm pretty sure she'll understand and if she doesn't... Oh well. she's a big part of my life but I need to think about myself some time."

Juliet smiled at him. She had a sudden urge to just be with him. she needed him. She pulled him towards the bed and snuggled up in his arms. "I can't believe your all mine!" she said, smiling.

She heard a noise outside his door, but kinda wanted to ignore it. she wanted him all to herself, even though she knew that wasn't possible.

Angel heard the noise too, but decided to ignore it, if someone had to say something screw them, they could come in like a normal person, but he was busy with Juliet.

"I looooove you." he smiled.

Juliet giggled. she kissed him passionately. she knew he was hers, but somewhere inside she felt like she could still lose him somehow. she held onto him for dear life.

"Juliet, is something wrong?"

"No." she lied, still grasping onto him for dear life.

Angel had noticed her grip had tightened. "What's wrong, sweetheart?" he asked. "What are you affraid of? Your really pale." he said touching her cheek.

"Nothing." she said again, not looking at him.

He kept staring at her. "Please don't lie to me, don't shut me out, what's wrong?"

Juliet blushed and looked down. "I...I'm still afraid I'll lose you..."

He sighed in aggrivation. "I just asked you to marry me, Juliet. izm not going anywhere."

"For now...but what if something better comes along before I'm ready? a girl that's willing to do anything, instead of a stupid shy little girl...What then?" She whimpered.

He groaned. "Really? Honestly? You think thats going to happen? You think I fall in love THAT easily? It took me forever to say the words 'I Love You' just to you. I do love you. I want to marry you, not some whore off the street."

She looked up at him, a pout on her face. "But-"

"No, no freaking buts! I asked you, if you think I ask any girl to marry me your mistaken. I asked you, damnit." he growled. Then he pulled on his coat.

"Where are you going?" she whimpered.

"I need to cool off, I don't want to say something that I'm going to kick myself in the ass for later." he smashed his lips against hers for the longest moment. "I Love You." he said and left, hoping she wasn't going to follow him.

Sarah noticed Angel had left, she slowly walked into his room. She saw the black haired girl on the bed. She crossed her arms and walked into the room.

"Sarah?" Juliet asked.

"What?" she asked, pissed. "Isn't it enough your taking my brother away from me, what the hell else do you want my soul?" she growled.

Juliet groaned. she couldn't do anything right today. she sighed. "I'm not trying to take your brother away. I want him to spend time wth you. I know how much he cares for you. I want you two to still have that relationship..." she bit her lip. "Am I really messing things up that badly?" she asked.

"Yeah, you are." Sarah said. "It'd be best if you just left!" then sarah walked out of the room.

She was right. She was messing up everything. She hadn't meant to. she loved him.

she found a piece of paper and a pen and started writing. "I'm sorry. I know I've messed everything up. That was not my intent. I love you, and I just want you to be happy. Sorry for...everything. You shouldn't have bothered with me. Now you can take care of your sister. I love you,

Juliet." She pulled off the ring and set both ring and note on his bed where he could see it. She grabbed both backs and walked outside. she had some cash for the time being. she hailed a cab and headed to a hotel.

She went inside, and started crying on the bed, all alone with no one to comfort her.

When Angel got home from his walk, which seemed impossible because every which way he turned he couldn't find a damn street where it was lit by a city light.

When he walked into the room he saw Juliet's bags were gone, and he noticed she left a note and a ring. He read the note and stalked down the hallway, he shoved open Sarah's door.

"What the hell did you say to her?" he growled.
