I don't really like the rope that's in the way here. I think it kinda takes away from the clouds. Same with the trees. Oh well. The clouds in the sky just reminded me of a dragon and something in my head said, "Hey! Dragons do exist. Told ya so!" Well, tell me what you think of it.

The rope isn't so bad. It's not actually a distraction. It's giving a slight "abandoned" touch to this, and that's cool . The sky here is just breathtaking! I love the marbleized look that it has. It's so prettiful.
The only thing that distracted from this is the thing on the ground (I know, I'm being silly). I think it's a puddle or patch of snow?
But, aside from that, great photo! Keep it up!

Hey! Tex speaking. I've taken a dozen photos of sunsets (that's all I ever take pictures of) here in Texas and in Kansas, and let me tell you, this is a really nice picture. I'll just point out a few of the aspects here:
Clouds:
The colors blend beautifully, and when they don't there seems to be that slight pink lining on the clouds that is much desired. The actual colors are a very nice mix. I love how the clouds swirl a little.
Sun:
You can tell where it is hiding behind the clouds, but you can't really see it. I think that's the best kind!
Surroundings:
The trees up close are black, and the ones in the distance are slightly green. Perfect. I love the little clearing. The rope does not take away from the clouds. As springrain said, they add a rustic look. Very nice.
I rate this 9.5/10
Nice work! Man, that part of Canada (I'm guessing that's where it was taken) is really pretty!

Hey thanks. I took this on my family's old farm *sniff* in 2006. Gah, I loved that place. And ya, June you're right. That is snow.
There are lot's of places in Canada that are pretty. And that rope is our old tire swing. It was tied to two different trees on the side of the hill. I thought it was annoying at first but now that the two of you point that it's rustic and abondened... I'm just gonna go now before I cry (just joking)
