hmm... I don't know what it is about this piece... but I like it. And how the hand looks like it just got done drawing the tree (in my point of view anyway). I just really like it. And of course it's quite simple. Not really an expert on the whole art of drawing and such though. But, I know what I think is good to look at. haha.

I really appreciate it! I was just bored one day in class, wondering what to draw, and I saw my hand holding the pen (yes, I do my Algebra/Trig with a pen, lol).
So I thought, why not? =]
First off, thank you so much for reviewing my scribbles . Much appreciated, thanks!
This is cool!
The tree thing-y looks under done when you compare it to the hand. It looks sort of like it wasn't finished, you know? And, then when you contrast it with the ink drop, it looks sort of like... not realistic. It feels like whatever should be there should be inky.
However! That hand is wicked cool!
The part where the index finger joins the hand is a tad weird-ish, but it's cool. I love how it looks sort of mangled. The big fingernail usually would annoy me xD but here I like it.
Now! I want to see you draw when you're not bored, and you're taking your time .

Great job!

This piece especially caught my eye because it was an assignment in my art class last year to draw a hand. I like how the fingers are slighty misshapen. It gives them more character. I like the way you concentrated more on the hand and put less fine-details on the tree, because it puts emphasis on the hand and draws the eye to it. You did a good job with shadow placement as well.
Who did the jedi mind trick on you women when it comes to capri pants? *waves hand* You want a piece of clothing that makes your ass look wider, your legs shorter, and your feet bigger.
