shauni: why only a little spanish, my friend is from portugal, actually an immigrant, and he speaks portuguese fluently and because of that knows much of the spanish language from similarities.
That's because when you visit Spain they don't speak like you do in your classes. It's very advanced and complicated, they speak too loudly and quickly that sometimes it looks that they "eat" some words. It's very hard to understand and because they are kinda of "dummies"(for all the spanish that are out there, I'm not saying that you are, but from what I cold see, must of the people there are...), if you don't speak fluently and correctly spanish they don't understand a word, sometimes even english they get it. That's why is hard to speak to them and learn the language. I don't have spanish classes....
