Gage's P.O.V

I walked home after taking Abby home. I don't know what it is about her, but every time I'm with her i feel like we're the only two people on the planet. I know
I've only known her for a day, but i don't care....I think I'm in love with her. I walked into the house and sat down next to Kade.
"So what was that? In the backyard i mean." He said eyeing me
"Nothing"i replied casually.
"It didn't look like nothing to me" He said
"Fine, don't judge me but.....i think i love her..."I said
"What? you've only known her for like a day...not even like a couple hours."He said looking at me
"I know but....every time I'm with her its like...."I couldn't find the words to speak, how was i supposed to explain how i felt about her when i didn't even know how to explain it. Mom and dad walked in the house and headed down stairs calling for us to follow them. When i got down stairs i saw a stream of water coming at me. I put up my hand and with one swift movement it fell to the ground frozen solid.
"I thought we weren't allowed cheep shots!"I said glaring at Penelope.
"Well we need to get you boys into shape, I've noticed that you haven't practiced for a while and i want you three to do so now."with that she and my dad left the room. Penelope had to work together, she would throw the water at me and i would freeze it. Kade sat at a table lighting a candle over and over again till all he had to do was look at it. After about an Hour of practicing i went over to Abby's house, her parents told me she was outside in the back yard. I headed outside to see her sitting down looking into the sky.
"Hey"i said. I must have scared her because her head whipped around to look at me. She looked startled. "Sorry"i said
"Its OK, you just scared me a little"she said smiling. I sat down next to her and played with a lock of her hair. She looked at me and smiled.
"Why are you playing with my hair?"She asked still smiling at me
"I don't know, its really soft and smells really good, I couldn't help myself."I replied laughing a little. I stared into her eyes and she stared into mine. I wanted to hold her in my arms and kiss her. I wanted to feel her lips on mine, her arms around my neck and her hands in my hair. I had to get out of there before i did something i shouldn't.
"Abby, i have to go, I'll talk to ya later OK."i said quickly, i got up and helped her up. I gave her a hug then left. When i got home i ran to my room, I just wanted to be alone, but knowing my family someone would be up in 3...2...1 *Knock*Knock*Knock*
"Go away"I said
"Honey what's wrong? What happened?" my mom asked walking into my room and sitting on my bed.
"I don't want to talk about it"I said avoiding eye contact. Then Kade walked in and sent my mom out.
"What happened?"He asked
"I cant take it Kade, I've waited 200 years for her. Now that i got her, i cant do anything...or it will scare her off!"I said fighting back tears. Truth is Lacy saw Abby 200 years ago, she saw she would become a fairy like her, and she saw that Abby and i were sole mates.
"You probably just have to wait a little bit but I'll call Lacy anyway."He said and walked off. Lacy's a Fairy, She can see the future. She can tell me what to do and what not to do. Lacy was over in a flash literally. She took one look at me and started to do her thing. Either Kade already told her or she saw it coming.
"OK, Gage what you really need to do is......wait. She is thinking about weather or not she likes you. She'll realise that she does like you in about....2 hours."She said smiling
"Really?!"I said a little to excited. She laughed and nodded. Then her face became blank, she was seeing something....after about a minute she looked at me then to Kade with a scared expression.
"What?What did you see?" I asked beginning to freak out. She ran downstairs and out of the house. I followed her out into the street. Nathan's 'Friends' were outside. We call them 'The Evil Ones' because they are trying to destroy Nathan. They constantly fail because its hard to fight a strong vampire with an army behind him.
"What are YOU doing here?"i asked. Venom dripping from my words.
"We heard there's a new family, we wanted to welcome them"he said smiling and evil smile.
"You leave this family alone their with us" Said Lacy, her eyes narrowing.
"Do you think we are afraid of a little fairy and some element's?"they asked sarcastically.\
"You should be!"I said taking a step forward. I don't know why i did. I couldn't do anything i controlled ice, but Kade could set them on fire and kill some of them. He can only do it if they stay in one place long enough. Kade walked out of the house glaring at the vampires. Once they saw him, they looked at me and said "We'll get her, and her whole family"
With that i lunged, but they were gone. Kade and Lacy pulled me back inside.
"Don't worry Gage she's safe, They wont come back tonight" Said Lacy.
"No! If anything happens to her...i don't know what I'll do" I said in a pained voice. Lacy stroked my cheek and whispered "She'll be fine, now get some sleep."She left me in my room. I didn't realise how tired i was until my head hit the pillow. I drifted into a light sleep, keeping my ears open just incase.
