I don't know if anyone else has them, but I happen to have some favourites when choosing names for story characters. For instance, my impression of a romantic male name would be James, and a girl's would be Jamie or Lily. So what are yours?
I don't really have any favorite first names, but I love the last name Bishop. It goes with just about any first name and flows.

Oo yea, and Erişa is the name of my character in Kidnapped (storybook). It's based on eriş, which is Crimean-Tartar for stubborn. I also used to like Phoenix.
For children, I like Zoe and Hammie (Baby Blues - but I don't like Wren). Mia and Cecily are nice too (I've been reading The Importance of Being Earnest).
My names depend on the type of character, and I am big on researching just the names for certain stories, like the meaning of the name, origin, etc... I think I'm just going to give the ones I'm using at the moment.
