I'm writing a fantasy romance (as it says above). I wrote something in another forum but it got one reply, because I basically said I didn't need help. But now I do need help and that topic is pretty old.

Summary of what I have so far:
Avril, a girl, who's all normal and such, except for her mortal enemy, Alison. Alison is a girl who insults on a minutely basis, basically. But the thing is that no one can really hear the insults. All of her insults are compliments, and her sarcasm is kindness, to human ears. The thing is that Avril is a witch but she doesn't know it. Alison is a witch too, from an evil family (yes, Alison is evil). Her family wants to take over the magical world. They both love this boy (Samuel, a new student), though on his first day when Alison insults him (she does that to even the person who she likes. Samuel thinks they are compliments anyway), and since Avril can actually hear the insults, she gets all defensive. She insults Alison, and the class, who thinks that Alison is sweet, gets mad at her. Including Samuel. Avril's friends pester her about Alison, (they are all like, "She's so sweet! You're just jealous." and other things similar to that. THINGS THAT I HAVE NOT DECIDED YET WILL HAPPEN IN BETWEEN THIS. And then one day they go to a party. The party turns out terrible for Avril, and she leaves crying, planning her suicide. On her way home a woman comes and grabs. A spell is done, a flash of purple light is seen, and all is black. Later that evening she wakes up and finds she is in a strange house. A witch named Cecilia explains her past to her. It turns out that her grandma used to be the Queen of the Magical World, but then something happened and she disappeared. Cecilia and some others believe she is still alive and want to find her.

It's just the beginning, I know.

But I'm not sure about some things. Things such as:

Should part of it take place in another world?
I mean part on earth, and then the rest, part in the sky, or another world somewhere

Should I post it?
I don't know. Someday I might end up trying to publish it, and publishers want those First Print blah

So please please please help me!

I can't answer the first question, because that's your decision to make, not ours. But sure, definitely post it on here some time.

That sound really good!

If remember correctly you posted something about this awhile back. It's fleshed out really nicely since then, and you now have a pretty good plot. It seems original to me, at least.

Question 1- look at what's right for your story. A paralel demention that's super-imposed on our world might be what the plot calls for, or you might need a whole other world. Write it out to see what feels best.

Question 2- No idea about the first rights stuff, but does having it posted online really count?

Hope I helped!
