"KIds are a nuesences. YOu can't do much with them. Ya their cute, and all. But if I'm ever gonna have any it'll be when I'm like thirty and to old to do anything adventerous. If I was ever to have any I'm sure I"d love em, but right now, they wouldn't want me as a father." He shrugged.

*Tears*

"No one thinks their going to be a good parent." she said.

"You do." he said. "I don't have the emotions to love a kid, let alone a small little crying... THING." he wrinkled his nose. "Plus, it would be a big mistake." he said. "We don't love each other, what kind of parents would that make us?" he asked.

Of course Katy didn't LOVE him but she cared, ALOT about him, damn her father. He started sturring his coffee, he looked down at his coffee.

"Wow, Shakespear, that was deep. And if you dunk your nose any closer into that coffee your gonna need a snorkle." she said. "So..." she said.

"You know, I liked it so much better when we were fighting." he said. "You had something interesting to throw at me." he laughed.

She smiled too. She didn't bother with the conversation with children, she didn't want to bring it up again.

The rest of the day was slow. At least until lunch.

"Want to go scuba diving?" He asked.

"I don't know how." She replied.

"Come on then, got some friends that'll take us out."

"I'm not a good swimmer." she said.

"Liar." he said.

"Am not!" she said.

"Yeah, that's why you go surfing. Right?" he laughed.

"Doesn't mean I know how to swim. I just do it for the danger." she said, feeling chills racing down her spine.

"Danger? You do if for the danger?" he asked.

she nodded. "I like danger."

"Then your going to love scuba diving." he joked, he yanked on her wrist and they were out the door.

After they made sure Journey could do it Tom and Beth took them out to the dive and the dove down out of the boat swimming down to a beautiful reef. He smiled as he watched the fish and other things swimming around pointing out several to Katy as they went.

Katy was scared to death. She was scared to see a shark, or run out of air, that scared her the most. She didn't like being under water she liked riding the wave, but not when the wave could possibly separate people. Not the ocean.

She was starting to wonder how long Tyrel had been doing this.

Tyrel swam over to Katy. He did the ok sign and she shrugged. He motioned her to follow him and he showed her a school of amazing fish and then they headed up to the surface.


*ugh*

about 5 hours later**

"Well I was just saying." she laughed. "Don't you ever get scared your going to run out of air, or that your going to be swept away?" she asked.

He laughed too. "All the time."

"I mean I thought I was going to die." she said. As they neared their hotel. All the doors to even get into the hotel were locked. They would need their card key to get in. She looked at Tyrel. "Well what are you waiting for? Where's the key?" she asked.

"I thought you had it." he said. "I don't have it." She could tell he wasn't lying or kidding.

"Well I didn't bring it." she said.

"Shit." he said.

And rain litterally began to pour. They both bolted for the beach, no one was there. She looked at him. "Stop looking so pissed, so what we both forgot the key." she said, placing her hands on her hips.

"Oh, I'm not pissed about the key. I'm pissed that we don't have a key, it's raining, and we don''t have a place to sleep." he said.

"Well we can sleep on the beach." she said smiling. "I've always wanted to do that, but I've been too chicken."

"It's raining." He replied. The rain slowed down and she pulled him to a small part of the beach.

"It's dry here, and it's warm outside, come on." She begged.

"Fine, but I don't see why you want to sleep out here." He sighed.

She looked at him. "Your just determined to have a horrible time. Aren't you?" she asked.

he shrugged.

She stuck her tongue out. "Oh, c'mon don't tell me you've never wanted to sleep on the beach." she said.

"Let me think, no." he said.

"Only thing I"ve ever heard of anyone doing on the beach was loving." He shrugged.

"I'm just sayin sleep." She replied. He ploppped down and looked at the sky.

"I'll try it." He replied.

It was barley midnight, They had made a camp fire. There was no one else there. Katy looked at him from a different angle.

"What?" he asked.

She shook her head. "Nevermind." she said. Then she got up, then ran towards the water.

"What are you doing?" he asked.

"Swimming." she replied and jumped into the waves.

Tyrel watched for awhile then ran to the water after her jumping in and diving deep under the water.

**It's OK. I'm pretty blocked today myself**

When she was running in the water she felt the sand between her toes and the water dropplets on her back. She noticed Tyrel was in the water with her. She knew it would tempt him. The water was one of her favorite things. She splashed water at him, smiling.

"You know, for some reason I'm having more fun on the beach than in the hotel." she admitted. "What about you?"

"Ya, least we're not trapped inside four walls tryin to kill each other." He smiled bck at her.

"That too." She laughed splashing water at him again. he jumped at her grabbing her around the waist and dunking her.
