"Hiccup...shisharkshifu--hiccup-roo"
I bark, then pant like a dog.
this. is. life. for. me. period. A big evil laugh here and there, spurting "excellent-----Monday------excelent..." I hop thrice on each foot every four or so steps, and often end up doing a hoe-down kick thing where my feet are as spastic as any ever were. Other times I bypass the more mobile tics and end up plain old squatting. Then once in a while, I will have to fall. Not really a choice. My body decides it's going to do something...I just hang on for dear life and hope it wasn't set on self-destruct. Many times my arms shake and I curse words that I never use in conversation. Once in a while, almost always in the afternoon, something in me flips a switch, and every sound and word that is heard by me must be repeated. I flap, gag, wave, bend at the waist in all directions. My life is like a circus ride which keeps going faster and faster. I try, but sometimes it's all I can do to curl up and cry. I can't go to school, the medications aren't working. Those that are strong enough for anything are worse in themselves than the tics. I can still walk, I still function. Barely. What would you do? I try so hard not to just let myself sit down, sit back, weak and limp, and just give up. But then what would I do? Giving up is more complicated in act than it may sound.

I'm praying for you! You're so brave to endure all this every day. I don't know how I could manage. You're doing a brilliant job though! Best wishes,

This sounds a bit like me. Hm.

I don't tend to curse out loud unless I'm really distressed.
However, I do have a tendency to make involuntary movements.
(I.e. if I'm sitting still my neck turns on its own.)

Oh, and my mind retains everything. I will suddenly
find myself thinking about something I heard years ago,
over and over again.
