Come on, everyone. Why don't we turn this topic into something fun. It started as an experiment gone wrong, but I'm over it. I do feel bad that I may have caused Brad to quit. All I wanted was for him to acknowledge how his way of speaking can make people feel. (However, everything said in the post above is true. He would have been the victor if he had not quit.) He told me once that he believes nobody should care because this is just the internet, so it doesn't matter. In the end, that way of thinking made me believe a lot of untruths about him. But for me, it does matter. No matter who the person is, or how we are in contact with each other.

And how is it so many people seem to think I'm so great when I see a much larger number of comments on my work pointing out the problems rather than telling me what they liked about it?
Usually constructive criticism is more helpful with improving the story than praise. Even if I like a story I make sure I point out all the problems with it (that I notice). If somebody just says "Overall it's good" and then lists bad things about it, they still think there's more good than bad even though the bad was what they spent most of the time talking about.

I do agree with people. It's just that my arguing stands out more. If I see people who are on my side, I tend not to respond much to them, because yes, I do like arguing. I want to win, and I want to be right. But I'm used to people being against me and finding flaws in everything I say, so I may not always see it when people are on my side. It may look like I think I'm always right. In reality I'm just using debate tactics to try to win, playing devil's advocate, or if I can't do that, I'll leave it alone.
I hope you're not refering to the argument we had, because I forgot about that months ago.

Nah... usually I blabber on and on about the faults of the story... but I'm getting better!
