Their cheerul color and exaggerated expressions. I'm all right with the coded types, but sometimes those little faces make me sick.

What's especially bad is when someone uses too many of them. Try replacing "dood :)" with "That's awesome," for Pete's sake!

That's my rant against emoticons. Take it or leave it... dood!

Yeah. They can be annoying, but also useful in expressing emotions. I guess that's why they're called emoticons, huh?
