Oh yes, anti-pop, I have to agree with Evi. I was thinking about some poor abused child or animal, and then it's a basketball. I had to read it over and over again until I was sure that my brains wouldn't blow out. Reminds me of your other poem, The Happy. Bad review, huh? I have nothing to add.
