This is the back-story to my character's trials which will eventually (if I ever get there!) come and bite her in the face, make her so shocked she won't know what to do. For those of you who haven't read it, I'll start at the begining:
-body found on New York sidewalk
-taken to hospital
-bloodwork shows annesthesia in her system
-day later on stimulants, she wakes up
-woman (I switch to first person here) is perfectly lucid but doesn't know anything about herself
-she becomes famous with the help of a New York Times journalist, but nobody, no one even on the other side of the globe, knows her name
-she is staying with the journalist, not having any money or other means of supporting herself.
-she is Vox Nihili, as she calls herself, a voice of nothing.
-Vox hears the journalist and her fiance fighting over whether or not Vox can still live with them after they're married
-Vox runs away, spends a night on the street.
-She eventually shows up on the doorstep of a famous psychologist who now takes her in
-psychologist tries to help her unlock her past.
-no luck at that...
-psychologist helps her buy a house and to get started living on her own.
-she starts settling in, gets a job, a pet dog maybe...
-right when things start going her way, she's found a belief system, a sort of person, started a life of her own...
-a routine visit to the doctor's office turns into a nightmare.
-they tell her to come back the next day for an MRI, which shows she has a brain stem tumor.
-she has brain surgery despite the risky nature of the procedure, which could potentially paralyze her, make her forget everything again, even kill her.
-when she wakes up, everything went well
-but she has some unnexpected bedside visitors--strangers
-they come back a few days later when she's a little stronger and more coherent
-they tell her, these strangers who are wearing all-black tuxedos, that she doesn't know anything at all about her past.
-tell her that other than annesthesia, when she was found unconscious, there was a chemical called U0126 in her bloodstream.
*U0126 is a chemical shown to selectively erase memories in lab rats, yes, in reality! but is unapproved for human use, so I decided to play out the scenario that somebody bad got some of it...*
-tell her she had her memory, essentially, erased, by a criminal ring
-they tell her she's in danger
-she goes into wittness protection...
I will not let myself spoil the end, partially because I am not sure what I will do with it. That is the most I think you can take in, anyway? Feedback very welcome indeed. Rip it apart, tell me if plot outlines are allowed to be posted, whatever you want to! ;)
Cheers!

Hey Vox! You're named after your character, eh? ^_^

I just wanted to say that in Latin, nihil is an indeclinable noun. Therefore, I don't think it could be put into the genetive case, the case of posession.

Nihil is always nihil.

The story sounds interesting. It sounds a little cliche. The only thing I would say is your beginning seems rather slow. Look at all that happens before she finds out she's in danger! Of course, I don't know how long your planning to write the beginning.

Sounds cool 8) Albeit a bit cliche I have to admit. How am I gonna get this long enough for it to count as a review, oh well.

(I switch to first person here)
Never use brackets in story. lol, just trying to make this long enough to count as a review

Well keep writing but I do question telling what you are going to post... Hope this didn't help at all 8) But even better if it did :D . No, I agree that didn't make any sense
