Got to tell you a few things first:
1) Chatspeak is a no-no. You can use it once in a while, but don't over do it.
2) The 2:1 ratio rule. For every 1 piece of work you post, you must review 2 others, not done by you.
3) Have fun.

It's okay to be brutally honest.
We're supposed to expect our work to be ripped apart by critiques sometimes.
It's part of the learning process for us to improve!

Hello there and welcome

There are lots of great things to do on YWS, and it's a great place to improve your writing and all that fun stuff.

Don't forget to check out the chat room! The mods open the chat for all of us lower beings when they are feeling generous, and all of the writers come together and talk about... well generally not writing but it's still fun. Just remember that all of the rules apply to the chat as well as the site, no exceptions
