Who's going to pay
for all my anxious lies
and my time-wasting words
that litter every cell around me?

I pushed it all away,
I flicked the rope from the bar
and now I take my time
from you; I'm a common, course thief.

Your name again?
Brown eyes and a jumble of palm trees
aren't going to jumpstart my
dormant memory.

I lie here alone tonight,
tearing myself apart.
It hasn't been long since you
ran down your street to the cul-de-sac.

You just laugh at me
as I dream in white light.
I don't think you're nailed to the floor
anymore, but what do I know?

Don't laugh at me
or fling your computer-simulated
guitar strings at my wrist.
You know why.

It hurts. Like a five o'clock start.
Canberra? I remember.
I remember despising it,
spitting at its feet.

Psychedelic spots on the seat in front
which my eyes burnt through.
I was a mere foolish rag doll
cast aside, they uttered no words.

Yet it's late,
I'm inflexible,
and the moon twists my spine.
You die as my pen leaves this page.

Done wonderfully once again... especially the end.

I was a mere foolish rag doll
cast aside, they uttered no words.

Who are 'they'? I was a little confused at this part.

But yes... Nice job.
