The Candlestone

Plot: Billy Bannister and Bonnie Silver have discovered that they are the children of dragons. Bonnie has known since she was little, but Billy just learned of his origins.

Together, they defeated the last Dragon Slayer, Devin. But Devin hasn't died. He lies trapped in the Candlestone...

He turned to Ashley, who was manning the controls. "I'm ready," he said.

She nodded. "Translumination in three... two..." Her voice took on an ureal quality. Billy felt himself being twisted around, flailing... He opened his eyes. His body had changed, becoming a blur of red-gold light.

Okay, I'm interested, but I'm not entirely sure on the details. Could you explain some more?

Here goes.

Billy and Bonnie, together with new friends, learn that Devin is the last survivor of King Arthur's knights. How he lives for so long is unknown.

They learn that Devin has the sword Excalibur, as well as the candlestone. The sword changes matter to light, and the stone captures the light. Since dragons need light to stay healthy, the candlestone saps their strength.

Bonnie's father tricks her into thinking her mother is trapped in the stone. He hopes to get her to resurrect Devin.

Hold that thought. The dragons and antrhozils are granted their power by God. If she can see visions, you should tell how she was granted that power.

And there aren't supposed to be any elementals here; only fire dragons.

Kriss claimed over the wall that led to the dark cave. He was known as an adventurer and a very good one in fact and didn't let love get in his way. his last girlfriend turned out to be a control freak who kidnapped him. Yes this is true. Well through his funny journeys and near death experances Kriss was still standing tall with his good looks. Kriss was very vain, he thought he was gorgous. Many people did but he could never with them for long as he had his next journey to travel.

Billy:

The stone's heart was as dark as a moonless night. Billy shivered. How was he supposed to find Bonnie in here?

He found that, just by thinking, he could direct his motion. Experimentally, he turned a slow circle. "Bonnie?" he called. "Booonieee?"

There was no reply, only echos.

I watched as the boy looked into the candlestone and called for the dragon girl and the urge to help was almost overwhelming. But I couldn't let my own personal feelings about the children get in the way of my quest. First I had to get Devin out of that stone and that boy was the answer to my problems.
