Rebecca, Alicia, Marie, Oisín and Christopher are a group of thieves emmersed in an Underworld of secrets and treachery. They have kidnapped two girls, Martha and Jennifer, from a rich family and have held them captive for two years. Rebecca and Alicia have studied their movements and are biding their time until they can present themselves as the missing daughters. At this point, Martha and Jennifer will be killed.
But Christopher, the object of Alicia's affections, is aquiring an interest in Martha, the older of the two sisters. He has not yet decided to abandon the plan, but doubts are emerging in his mind, though he will not express them.
Oisín is the leader of the gang, with Marie as second in command.

Name: Alicia Lily Toll
Age:21
Hair: Long, blonde and wavy, to half way down her back. She always wears it tied up.
Eyes: Dark green, large, with a hint of blue, framed by long thin dark lashes.
Complexion: Pale, with a smattering of freckles on her nose.
Dress: Loose tunic-style shirts in black or grey, belted at the waist, and black trousers, and worn brown boots which come to half way up her calves. She wears a grey cap with a peak.
Weapons: Two daggers and a gun.
History: Alicia was orphaned at the age of eight and raised in an orphanage, where she was badly mistreated.At the age of fifteen she was turned out in to the streets to fend for herself after the orphanage mistress's husband took an interest in her. She stole to get by, food at first, then jewlery and other such expensive items which she sold and traded. It was through this means that she met Oisín and Marie, at the age of 17, and joined together with them, partcicpaitng in their robberies and scams. This was before the other two members joined the gang.
Personality: Secretive, stubbourn, agressive. She doesn't trust easily. She;s emotionally fragile but works hard to hide it. She holds a grudge and is prone to jealosy. She is also prone to rash actions. Her trust, once won, is almost ireevocable.
