PLOT

In the year 2500 only four cities stand where as all others have fallen. It all started ten years ago when a government experiment went horribly wrong and a deadly virus was “accidentally” let loose through the entire world, forcing a mass survival war over everyone.

When the first city fell it was like a chain reaction, causing another to fall, and then another. This couldn’t have been predicted and neither could the other side-effect to the virus, which was a handful of people from each remaining city having a very odd power. Whether it be a genius mind, cat-like reflexes, seeing the future or even having the ability to blow things up with your mind, the virus could cause it all and so the government called these people ‘The Selected’ and have made it a priority to hunt these rare people down and train them to be fighters against ‘The Others’ which is the other side-effect to the virus. The Others are mutated humans who’s only purpose is to destroy the remaining cities. Will The Others succeed? Or will The Selected stop them? It all depends on you…

SETTING

You are one of 'The Selected' and you're on a sky ship to Port Dante(the smallest of the remaining cities) to help find more of your kind. It's pouring down rain and most of you are enjoying a good game of dodge ball while others are watching from bleachers or reading a book in their dorms.

Port Dante: The smallest of the four cities. Population, 8 million. Located right in the middle of the sea and floats on top of the water.

New Wick: Second smallest of the four cities. Population, 12 million. Located high into the mountains and gets lots of snow.

Hollowcaster: Second largest of the four cities. Population, 16 million. Located in the middle of the hottest desert.

Padriac: Largest of the four cities. Population, 30 million. Located in the ruins of New York and completely surrounded by a tall wall.

Personality: Elon is very kind and caring, yet has a guarded side. She has the tendency to be in a bad mood, therefore making her blunt and cynical. She is loving, but does not trust anyone first thing.

History: She was raised on a farm, always secluded from everyone. Nothing bad ever happened to her, so she is a little naive as to bad things in the world.

Personality: Tory has mixed personalities, meaning one day she'll be ready to play games and then the next she'll be stowed away into her bedroom with the lights off. She has a bit of a shell and can be very, very shy at times but is still that girl who loves to laugh. She is one of those people who stand for whats right and will help anyone weaker than herself.

History: Was born in New Wick during the coldest part of year. At the age of seven she lost her mother and three brothers to the virus and her father became one of The Others. Tory then went to live with her uncle who is the chief of New Wick's police and so Tory is a fighter. Her speed has always been an advantage for her, especially up in the mountains of new Wick.When Tory wasn't but fifteen the governmant came for her and the rest of The Selected in new Wick, she hasn't seen her uncle since.

Personality: An all round nice person but is shy and hates to talk about her past.

History: Pandora was one of uncle James projects, he wanted to see if a bat bite could harm an human. He calls her a vampire because it made her crave blood. she is the first vampire ever.

History: Basically a normal life until the virus came.

Gender: Male

Age: 17

Ability: Reactive Adaptation and Adoptive Muscle Memory - He can develop immunity to almost anything he is exposed to, the exception being direct physical damage, against which he only has a very mild immunity. Moreover, he can mimic any physical action he sees performed.

Personality: He's unstable, to say the least. He can appear fine at first, but after knowing him for a little while, people begin to see that he's often edgy or jumpy, and is prone to fits of rage for the most bizarre reasons. He also has mild schizophrenia, although virtually no one knows about this.

History: He was one of the first test experiments for the virus, having volunteered because he needed the money. Luckily for him, he was one of the few who was not afflicted with all the negative effects of the virus, and instead developed his powers. The scientists immediately began trying to find his limitations, subjecting him to more tests and more viruses, believing him to be a way of unlocking human potential. As a result, he began to develop psychological illness, and quickly grew to hate the scientists. His presence on the airship is intended as a brief respite from those tests, as the government determines that he was too likely to attempt escape if the tests were continued, and that therefore he needed a breather.

Ability: Mind Reader/Illusionist/Genuis
Personality: Playful and honest, she loves the have fun with the other Selected because she see's them all like her brothers and sisters, something she has never had.


Appearance: (eyes turn white when she is creating an illusion/eyes turn black when she is reading people's minds)

History: Was born in Hollowcaster, but her mother and father were originally from one of the cities that didn't survive the virus. Her father was one of the first in Hollowcaster to die from the virus, leaving Lunette and her mother alone with little money. When Lunette wasn't but two years old she found that she could hear other people's thoughts and then soon after she could create illusions around herself. Once school started she exceled in every class and skipped many grades, but it was then the government named her as one of The Selected and took her away.

Personality: Loves jokes, and flirts with every boy in sight. She has a short temper and loses control a lot.

History: Her life has always been hardships and she flirts with guys to get attention. She is really smart, but no one listens to her and they label her as a slut (if i need to change this i can). She was running away from home when the first city fell and she has been disconnected with her family ever since. She doesn't know if they are still alive or not.

Personality: He is very serious, and is very cynical. Although he has a soft spot for innocence.

(Black tribal wing tattoos on his back can switch into real wings and back to tattoos.)
(A tribal feather tattoo on each of his ankles can turn his legs feathered and feet into talons.)
(Tribal claw marks on his hands turn his arms into bear arms)
(A Taurus symbol on the base of his skull can give him bull horns)


Personality: Jer is overall a very nice guy. He knows what he stands for and defends it at whatever cost. He's extremely loyal to his friends. Helpful, kind, and straightforward, people trust Jer and, in return, he trusts them. Jer has an uncanny ability to noticed slight things in people's body language and figure out what kind of people they are. Jer's dark side, however, can come out when people provoke him or do something stupid. His hotheadedness can sometimes disrupt his natural happiness.

History: Grew up in Hallowcaster with his mother, father, and two sisters. Was ten when the virus hit and his lived his life aiding the survivors and looking out for his friends and family. He figured out that his tattoos could change his body structure to match those of the animals the tattoos were based on. After much research done on him scientists figured out a new chemical in his brain causes his tattoos to become real. Along with the tattoos the chemical enhances muscle structure to accommodate the new changes.
