Tyrel:

Tyrel rocked back on his heels and frowned. "They know your name and face?" He asked.

"Ya." Jake replied.

"I don't know about it." He said turning and walking toward sthe house. "Now let's get something to eat."

"You sure your ok with it?" Jake asked catching up.

"I don't know anything about it, so I don't mind." He replied as they got on the steps. "Now, let's eat before Pop thinks we are avoiding her meals."

"Hurry up before the food gets cold." PIppa said sticking her head out the door.

"Yes, Ma'am." Tyrel smiled.

Pippa:

Pippa walked into the house and set the food on the table not letting anyone help.

"Your all guests, tomorrow you'll have plenty of time to work, but not yet." Pippa smiled at them all

Billy Cook

Aaaahhh this is what I'd really missed from society: food. I felt like a vulture eying all of that food as Pippa laid it all out before our eyes like a gift from God himself.I made for the table, rubbing my hands together in anticipation. A curt little cough behind me, barely audible over the sounds of preparation made by 'Pip' and I turned to see everyone still stood politely waiting for Pippa to finish before taking their seats. I stopped where I was, hung my head and shuffled dejectedly back into the crowd.
No sooner had I made my way back among the confines of the crowd than Pippa was finsihed and standing, beaming, in front of us.
"Let's eat!"
"This is my plan of attack"

"Hmmm, looks more like a pin to me"

"No, it's definitely a tac"

Bethany collapsed on the hotel bed, exhausted. Kicking off her shoes, she sighed gratefully. Finally, a bed to sleep in instead of cold, hard ground! Heaving herself up, she rested her back against the headboard and fished out the flyers that the Sheriff had let her keep.

'Jack Stanley, age 19, white male. about 6 foot, longish wavy-brown hair, green eyes. Wanted in Little Rock for attempted train robbery. Last seen in Pine Bluff. Reward: $300.'

Bethany tossed the flyer aside, barely paying attention to it as it floated to the ground. This next outlaw interested her more than Jack Stanley.

'Billy Cook, age 19, white male. about 6 foot, brown eyes, brown hair. Wanted throught the Northwest for robberies, ahootings, and killing three men. Last seen in Pennsylvania. Reward: $4,500.'

Bethany chewed her lip. Pennsylvania? I don't want to go back there, will all the ruffly dresses and the suitors and the fancy clothes. Once I get there, they'll be all over me, forcing me into those stuffy rooms full of people! Making a disgusted face, she tossed the flyer in the air as she got up out of bed to change into her nightgown.

She grabbed the bottle of whiskey and put it to her lips, letting the liquid slide down her throat. Heading back to the bed, she saw Billy Cook's face staring up at her, along with Jack Stanley's. She ripped up Billy's flyer in anger.

Why the hell do you have to be all the way in Pennsylvania?! she silently scolded the ripped paper. You're worth so much! Why couldn't you be right here in this town? Looking at Jack's flyer, she picked it up, examining his face. You look too much like a goody-goody to be an outlaw, she thought sadly. It's too bad. You're much closer and cuter than Cook is, I'm sorry to say. It'll be a shame to put such a looker behind bars.

*Hey, can I claim Jack, please??* *looks at Billy hopefully with puppy-dog eyes*

Pippa was spoiling us with food just as my momma had when I was growing up, and Billy was making me blush redder than a tomatoe. He was really a good looking man and he was so nice, maybe I'd actually be able to get a word out of my mouth if Jude wouldn't stop bugging me.

"Geez Georgia!" Jude said in a whipser from beside me as we sat down at the dinner table. "Billy is eyeing you like you're something special!" she said and I blushed again.

***While we're on the claiming subject, could I have Tyrel? ***

Adriane

I smiled at everyone. There was so much joy and fun around here, with Billy making eyes as Georgia so much she was redder than a beet, then Pippa flirting about like a little mother, and Jude giggling every second. Tyrel and I were just sitting there, smiling to ourselves and finishing our plates. Personally, I wanted to take a look at the horses he had thus far, at their condition and what could be done with them.

But with Pippa...not going to happen. After my third try to get out and start work, I looked at Tyrel. "Please, mister. Talk to your sister."

***Sure, I don't quiet understand what she said to Tyrel, but I'll try and work with it. Oh, and Pippa is going to get to where she trusts Jake and Billy, so when someone comes after them, she'll be angrier then a hornet. :D Not that she likes them, she's just like that with people she is friends with and so on. :P ***

Tyrel:

Tyrel laughed at Adriane and grabbed Pippa's arm pulling her to the seat next to him. "Eat." He said firmly. She blushed and then started dishing food onto her own plate. He listened to bits of everyone's conversations and made sure that his sister wasn't mothering anyone while she ate. She never had to many people come otu to the farm that she could feed and play hostess to. He chuckled to himself, she was a sweetie, but she was the devil too. He chuckled at he thtought then finished his food.

"I better check on the horses." He said standing up. "Adriane, would you like to come along."

"What about desert?" Pippa asked looking up at him with those puppy dog eyes.

"We'll be back after we look over the horses." He smiled kissing her forhead and tapping her forhead. She made her eyes even cutier and he laughed shaking his head as he made his way towards the door.

Hey Guys!
Can I jump in and add a new character?
Here's my profile:

Name: Jade Grace Myles

Age: 17

Race: White/Oriental

Gender: Female

Appearance: Slanted eyes, one Green, the other white. Shoulder-length, black hair. She dresses differently than most: She wears a Blue, Union cap with fringed deerskin jacket and pants. Wears black boots. Carries two pistols and has a steady aim. 4'9, but her strong build and temper makes up for her lack in height.

Personality: Will do anything for money, somewhat quiet, keeps to herself. She hates it when people check out her eye, but she puts on an indifferent attitude about it and tries to steer away from the subject. Shady past, always wears disguises to conceal her true identity while doing something "questionable".

Skill(s): Horse riding and roping. Good with a gun.

Occupation: Anything that brings in cash, though she won't kill, and bounty-hunting is a last option.

Reason(s) for Heading West: Ran away to join the army and disguised herself as a boy. Afterwards, she was hungry for adventure and headed out west to find some.

Other: Owns a black and white mustang and has a Burmese Mountain dog named Grant.

Jade Myles:

It was dark as Jade approached the small town, and her eylids were beginning to feel heavy. She read the sign a few feet in front of her:

Town of Frisco: Established in 1862 by Fredrick Collins. For a fleeting instant, she wondered who Fredrick Collins was, but the thought was gone before she had a moment to ponder it. Her horse's ears pricked up at the scent of humans, and his mane lifted gently in the slight, night time breeze.

"Easy, Stonewall," Jade whispered to reassure him. Then, she whistled shrilly with her fingers. Grant came trotting up to her, eager to be with his master. Jade urged Stonewall forward as she entered the town. As she looked around, she saw the saloon, and above it, a hotel. She grimaced at the thought of sleeping above a saloon, but tie her horse up and opened the saloon's doors.

Honky-Tonky music was slammed out of the piano in the corner, and the air was hazy with smoke. A fight was breaking out on her left, and Jade walked past, taking no notice of the fight, or the curious stares she drew from the drinkers and gamblers at their tables. She walked up to the counter and addressed the Greasy looking character behind it.
"Do you have any vacancies for the hotel?" She said shortly. He looked at her blankly.

"Eh?" he said. Jade sighed when she realized he was staring at her white eye.
"A room! Do you have a room I could rent for the night?"

"Oh, yeah. You can have numbah three. Here's da key. It's uh, 12 bucks a night." Jade sighed but handed over the money.
At least I got a room, she thought tiredly. She put her horse in the stables and headed upstairs with her dog to her room.

**Sure CJ. Oh, and when you say Pippa will be angrier than a hornet, TN, is that going to be directed at Jack and Billy, or at Bethany?**

Jack

He cleared his throat a little, pushing back his chair. Pippa gave him a shocked look, "Not you as well!"

Jack gave her a sheepish look, "Well, I just thought it'd be polite to wait for everyone to get back before we had dessert, and seeing as I'm going to have to check on the cattle sooner or later, I might as well give 'em a quick look now."

Pippa slumped back into her chair, picking at her food a little. Jack gave her a pointed look, "But if you think my not being here for five minutes is gonna get you out of eating your dinner, you've got another thing coming, missy." He ruffled her hair, then bent down next to her, whispering, "You might want to find yourself an excuse to leave the table for a bit as well, though. I'm getting the idea that Billy'd like some time to chat with Georgia. But you finish that dinner first."

He straightened up, pulled on his jacket and hat, and went looking for Tyrel's cattle. Or more importantly, where they were going to be most of the time. He'd need to be able to see what angle rustlers would try for in getting the cows, and given that he'd run into a few rustlers in his three years away, he felt that wouldn't prove much of a challenge.

Jade:

As Jade entered her room, she dropped her meager bag of possessions on the floor. Her eyes scanned the dirty room, a sagging bed in the corner, a small side table covered with dust, the cracked window letting the cold night air seep in. She grimaced. She had been ripped off. She wished she could go back downstairs and rip the money out of the palms of that greasy, sleazy beer-seller. She took a deep breath.

She needed to feel her way through this town, and she still didn't know what kind of town this was. She'd heard that rustlers were about, and on the way in she had been passed by a bounty hunter lugging some outlaw behind her. A wave of disgust had swept over her. Bounty hunting was no way to make a living. All it did was get you life-long enemies, and a bad name.

Oh well, she thought, I suppose it brings in the money. She sighed, and not bothering to change, dropped into the bed and pulled the covers over her. Tomorrow, she would check out the town and see what it had to offer.

****Bethany. She is one to thinki that there is a reason behind people stealing, and to her the past is the past. ****

Pippa wanted to stick her tongue out at him, but decided against it. SHe finished her food then got all the plates off the table carrying them into the kitchen and cleaning them off while she waited. She heard talking in the other room, but she wasn't one to evesdrop. When she finished washing off the dishes she got smaller plates and then pulled the blueberry pie out of the pie safe and cut it into slices. She had two pies so she would have enough for everyone to eat plus some left over.

Tyrel:

Tyrel walked out to the barn where all the horses were kept behind it in a big corral. "We just brought in a new herd, none of these guys are broke, they're all real scared of people too. We didn't give them reason to, but I'm sure we weren't the first to try and catch them." He esaid.
"And you wonder why we don't like you!" -Trumpkin

Billy Cook

Where'd everyone go? I finally pull my gaze away from Georgia for two seconds and everyone's gone. And how had we kept the conversation going this long? I was usually not one to be very talkative, what was happening? Oh dear Billy, a little four-letter word...begins with L?
Suddenly I felt very awkward, was this how she felt? I'd felt so natural when the general murmur of conversation hid our conversation but now it was out in the open...I shunned such thoughts from my mind and fell back on the oldest line of them all:
"So...get on with your sister?" What?! That's not the oldest line of them all!

*sorry it's kind of a weak post...ok a v weak post, but im a bit lost atm, i think thats right with the timeline etc?*
