I was thinking about time the other day. What do you think about time? Have you ever really thought about it before? I guess this is just to get people thinking and to get me thinking.

Its odd to think about. You know, Time.

Why do we fallow time like it's the only thing that matters?
Time is what holds us together.
If you are late, you fail.
If you are to early, you wait.
If you stay up to late, you are tired in the morning.
But who decided that between 12:00am and 12:00pm was morning?
What if there was no time?
What if people woke and slept when they pleased.
I suppose sleeping when it's dark
And hustling and bustling around when it's light
Makes sense
But why don't we just say
"Meet you by the big oak tree when the sun is right above us."
It was like that...once.
But then came sundials
And then came clocks.
And people started marching around back and forth from there 9-5 jobs,
Workers bringing the green back to there homes.
Like cutter ants carrying leaves back to the nest.
You have to be home by 5:30 because dinner is at 6.
And make sure you wake up in time
Because school starts at 8
But don't worry it ends at 3 so you will have some time in the afternoon.
Like, what the flip?
I don't really care what time it is.
Only when I want to watch television,
Because then I know what shows are on.

well i liked it. however it flowed with a more fact like point of view. like a statement of being and thought. i look at it with a more inner view. such as the main way we experience time is through age. i have thought about it a lot before and i discovered that it is almost something that cannot be conceived which gives it a property of (awh) in a way. but i would try and reach out more to describe the ( awhness ) of it more and for every person it is different lol. well i hope i gave a contrast of a sort but good job (=

I hope you don't mind but this reminded me of a piece I wrote in my Religious Studies GCSE class which I will publish shortly. I think time is an interesting subject and one that if you play around with can lead to all sorts of outcomes

Nice piece. Sounds like a prose poem though. :S

Why do we fallow time like it's the only thing that matters?

Follow.
We follow it because there's nothing else to follow! It drags us along, anyway. (pardon me, I tend to drift a little off sometimes.)

I'm not crazy about the ending. Sounds unfinished. But that's probably just me.

Hmm... Interesting. I liked this, it was kind of a little rant on time it was very intriguing. The ending didn't really do it for me- but that's just personal taste.

If you are to early, you wait.
If you stay up to late, you are tired in the morning.

The word "to" in each sentence should be "too". An easy way to think of this rule is that when you're describing something you have a lot of there's too many so there are two Os... that's how i think of it anyway

This is our decision, to live fast and die young.
We've got the vision, now let's have some fun.
Yeah, it's overwhelming, but what else can we do,
Get jobs in offices, and wake up for the morning commute?
