In the moonlight.

"It's okay. I know what you mean." he watched as they raced in circles around the coral. Seh was beautiful. He caught himself as he watched her on the big black horses back, her head thrown back adn her eyes closed. He snorted. Seh opened her eyes and looked at him.

"Somethign funny?" Black stopped, looked at him.

"No. Your just beautiful." she was so shocked, she fell off the horse. He jumped in and caught her in his arms. She looked up at him.

"What did you say?" her eyes were full of doubt.

"I said your beautiful." he lowered his mouth to hers, hungrily.

Lillian didn't know what to do at first. Black just laughed. She felt herself lean into the kiss and her hands wrapped around his neck as if by their own will. When they pulled away from each other she was breathless. She didn't know what to say, what to do.

"Wow." She whispered. He smiled and kissed her again, shorter this time. She jumped up her cheeks flaring red. "Race ya." She shifted quickly and jumped over teh corral. He followed in his cougar form. She raced passed where they had caught her and up to a small water fall she and Black had found before. She ran into the water then shifted letting the cool water ease the pain of shifting so much so soon. He caught up and shifted while he was on the bank.

"It's not really fair if your the only one knowing where we are going." He laughed. She shrugged and dunked her head under the water and then swimming to the shore. "Why didn't you jump the fence before?"

"I don't know." She smiled. "Something kept me there."

"Fate?" he asked, pausing to look at her. She stood befoer him, dripping wet. She shrugged, sending water flying everywhere. There was a commotion comign from behind her, but when he looked there was nothing there. An eagle took off not long after. He cursed.

"Chepi!" he called after the bird. "I told you not to change!" the bird soraed ariound and landed ona nearby branch. Slowly it shifted into the form of a man. Adahy stared at him. Lillian came to stand behind Adahy, looking a little frightened.

"First off, I'm not Chepi, or whoever that is. Second, where am I and who are you?" teh man hoped down from the branch.

"I'm Adahy Silver. Cheif of Anoouch tribe. You are on my tribes land. And Chepi os my sister." The man shook his head, bemused.

"Well, in that case, I'm sorry I intruded. I'll just be going." he turned and changed, soaring away. Adahy turned to look at Lillian. "Looks liek there's more of us." Tehy changed and raced back to teh tribe.

Lillian couldn't believe that there could be so many like them. She ran swiftly alongside Adahy staying near him so she didn't get lost. When they got to the edge of the tribe he shifted, she she did too.

"I rather not be human." She said.

"No one will harm you. Don't worry. It would be better." He smiled. She bit her lower lip and sighed.

"One day, if I don't like it I will be the bay again." She replied.

"Alright, come on, we better get back.

Marshall woke up and walked around the area.

Come on, please come out and play! Sire begged.

Lance ran through the woods. Where was that girl. He wanted to find her again. Something abotu her intreigued him.

Chepi woke up and found herself alone. She got up adn walked outside, in time to see Marshall changing into an animal. Seh gasped. MArshall stopped and turned around to look at the firghtended Chepi. Seh turned and ran back into her Tee-pee. Marshall followed.

Adahy nodded. "Well, sometimes I want to change and stay the same way forever, but I have to protect my tribe."

Lillian slowed and stopped. She looked up at Adahy, who had walked back to her.

"What?"

"Back there...you said you were the chief of your tribe. Is that true?" she asked, looking in his eyes. He nodded. She fainted.

"Lillian? Are you okay?" he asked when she gained conciousness again. They were in his tee-pee now, she was laying on his mat, covered. She shiverd a little. she didn't answer, just drifted back to sleep. Adahy sat thre and stared at hr for awhile, before laying down adn falling asleep.

Lillian held her legs close to her chest when she woke up. She wasn't going to wake anyone else.

He's the cheif! She said to Black.

No, I don't know what I am. But I'm not going to let people let me down again. She said the tears slidding down her face.

I think your jumping to conclusions. Maybe this tribe doesn't run like yours.

And if it does? What happens to me then. My heart gets torn out and trampled on. I should've stayed in my horse form!

"Chepi, wait." Marshall called running after her.

"W-what did you just do?" She asked.

"Um, I don't know what it's clale dor how I do it." He replied.

"I know what it's called and how you do it." She breathed. "Just YOU did it."

"Wait, your not scared cause I can do that?" He asked.

"No, just, I didn't know anyone else could!"

"Anyone else? You can too?"

Chepi looked at Marshall. "Yes. Now leave me alone." she reached for a cup, but her hands were shakign so bad that she dropped it. Marshall bent and picked it up, handing it back to her. Their fingers touched when she took it. Seh jerked back automatically, her hadn still shaking.

Adahy woke up to see Liliian curled up in a ball. Tears were treamign down her face adn she was rocking. He wrapped his arms around her adn pulled her against him. She went stiff automatically, but relaxed against him.

"Shh...." he coaxed, rockign her a little. He held her tight against him, thinking. Damn it!He knew this was wrong, but he didn't care. He buried his face in her hair adn drifted off to sleep. Lillian was still, the sobs sying. she leaned back against him, her head falling on his chest. He looked up at teh top of the tee-pee thinking, I'm half way in love with this woman and I barely know her. Spirir Warriors help me...

Marshall nodded and backed up leaving the tepee. He ran to the woods shifted, and ran to where Sire was.

That was real smart. Sire hissed.

SOrry you wanted me out here fast. He hissed back.

Lillian could resist leaning against him then falling asleep.

*~*Her Dream*~*
She ran through the woods in horse form her tail flying out behind her. When she got to the top of the hill she changed her form and layed down looking at the sky. The stars danced around drawing pictures for her. That's when he walked over and laid next to her. She looked at Adahy, what was he doing in her dream?

"They dance for those who shift." He smiled pointing towards the stars.

"That's what Black tells me." She smiled back. His arm wrapped aroud her and she moved next to him layin gher head on his broad strong chest. She was comfortable. "How can I feel so comfortable with you?"

"I'm not sure." He smiled. She moved her head up close to his and their lips met. Her senses went wild. LIllian looekd aroudn the tepee, she didn't want that dream to end, she didn't know why she dind't want it to. She felt Adahy still next to her and she moved closer to him.

How can I feel so comfortable with him, when I barely know him. She sighed

Maybe it's the Spirit Warriors doing, they gave you someone to trust. Black replied. [Now sleep child.

Adahy:


ADahy woke with Lillian still in his arms. He buried his face in her thick hair and inhaled. He closed his eyes adn pulled her closer. He wasn't letting her go. Not even if his life depended on it.



Chepi:

Cehpi shifted into her form, flying south, and landing on a thick branch. She shifted back into her form when another hawk landed beside her. She smiled down at it before gsping in horror. Instead of the hawk she had just seen, a full grown man sat beside her, grinnign liek an idiot. She gasped and started to change when his hand landed on her arm.

"Wait." she stopped, looking at him, terrified. She shook her head and hopped down, landing on her feet. She startedto run, but he caught up with her. His hand snagged around her waist, pullign her up against him. She struggled, tryin to get out of his grip. It was no use. He lowered his motuh to hers, adn she went wild, fighting him with all she had. She let out a scream, but she doubt anyone heard her.

Marshall:

Marshall heard the scream and he took off towards the sound shifting. When he saw the man holding Chepi he slammed into him holding him down and baring his teeth. He shifted quickly and slammed his fist into the guy's head several times.

"You ok?" He asked looking at Chepi.


Lillian:

Lillian opened her eyes and snuggled closer to Adahy not realizing what she was doing. She rolled over and looked at him.

"Morning." he smiled softly.

"Morning." She yawned not wanting to move, but knowing she had to.

Chepi:

Chepi sank to teh gorund, curling up into a ball. The guy Who had attacked her was unconscious. MArshall watched her as she sank to the ground, and walked over to her. She squirmed a little when he pickecd her up, but she finally relaxed as he walked back to her tee-pee. So much for going plying, she thought as she laid her head ion his chest.


Adahy:

Adahy sighed as he got up, his cape still around his sholders. "I think I'l make some breakfast. Lillian chuckled.

Lillian quickly mixed up some food and hten slipped out of the tepee walking to where Black was. She got a lot of weird looks as she stepped into his corral and walked over to him rubbing his neck with her hand humming softly to him.

We need to leave. she said.

No, you don't need to leave. He replied back at her.

I'm not getting my heart trampled. She replied.

Marshall carried Chepi back to her tepee and laid her on her mat.

"What happened?" Adahy demanded.

"She got attacked by someone, I heard her scream. I thnk she is fine." He replied stepping back.

Adahy:

Adahy glared furiously at the walls of the teepee. Someone had attacked his little sister and he was going to find out who it was. Marshall was with her now, tryign to calm her down. Lillian had took off to the coral where Black was. He dragged his hands through his hair. What was he going to do. Someone had to stay with Chepi till he got back. He looked at Marshall. I wonder... he thought, looking at the way Marshall looked at his sister. Maybe he should ask him. eah, that'll work. It won't take long for him to hunt down the attacker and Chepi should be alright with him till he got back.

"Marshall?"

"Yeah?"

"Coudl you coem here for a second?"

"Sure." MArshall walked ot wher Adahy was standing.




Chepi:

She sat tehre tremblign till she drifted off to sleep.

Marshall looked at Adahy and waited.

"What do you need to talk to me about?"

Lillian:

Lillian clung to Black's neck sobbing. She wanted to leave, she wanted to getg away.

You are safe and fine here. Black said again.

But he isn't allowed to love me!
