Oh please Mr. Editor,
Make me your whore!
Changes? Fine!
I wasn’t really attached to that line
Anyway! Sure, it was essential to
What I was trying to do,
To say,
But what do I know anyway?
I’m just a dumb childe;
Let your editorial license run wild!

I just need publication,
Which happens to be your vocation,
So please, just publish me.
Shall I get on bended knee?
It’s not that I have anything
Original to say, I just need to bring
The attention that comes with publication
To myself. I need to be able to run
To all my friends and peers,
To hear the cheers and jeers.

To hear the “good job”’s,
And the mobs
Of “it was great”’s,
The “we need to celebrate”’s,
The “you knocked ‘em dead”’s,
And the “you’re screwed in the head”’s.
The “you creep me out”’s,
And the “what’s that about”’s,
The “that was bland”’s,
And the “I understand”’s.

These comments, some derogatory,
Some masturbatory,
These are what I need, I crave
And are the reason why I slave
Over all the writing fair,
So please just put it anywhere,
I don’t care!
Just place it in a spot where
All the sheep can see it
Or else I shall throw a fit.
Mr. Editor, it is my only request:
Help my ego to it’s crest.
Publish me.

LOL, That was good. It was funny, good words were used, and it had a great idea. This poem is really unique which is really good. But it was confuseing in some parts. If you will read it you will understand what I meen. Thats why you don't have a lot of comment.
But still good job.
Blood is red
But Heaven is blue
The Devil will fined out
And take you

Haha
Man the story of my life - or any writer's for that matter.

this was so creative and original!
I loved the whole thing; and your rhyming stayed pretty fluid.

However, you did spell child wrong.
And I am feeling a bit lazy, so unfortunately I have no hardcore review.
But I really liked this one!
"...she was a lovely lady, with a romantic mind and such a sweet mocking mouth..."

Actually, I spelled "childe" correctly, it means young knight. I spelled it this way to convey that I am new to the writing craft.

What really knocks me out is a book that, when you're all done reading it, you wish the author that wrote it was a terrific friend of yours and you could call him up on the phone whenever you felt like it. That doesn't happen much, though.
— J.D. Salinger, The Catcher in the Rye
