I can't do hair. *edit* changed the hair, still rubbish.


Do you think there is something not right with the proportions of her face?? I can't figure it out. Help.

I think the hair worked out ok in this one! Quite pleased. Yeah, still need to fix the chin...but the subject does have quite a pointy chin, I must add.

And here's two new ones. They were done quite quickly, so they're quite sketchy.

Her eyes didn't turn out so good when i scanned it. They looked good on paper. And her hair was a disaster! It took ages, and turned out rubbish!! Grr.


Now this is a character from my most recent story. Her name is Aelan. This was done quite quickly.

Ooh, and also they were done with only a HB pencil, and then I found my 6B. Lost my other ones..ack.

Well, use references for hair, I mean, look at hair in one giant shape. Then remember to add frizzes or stuff.

And the second picture's problem lies withen the jaw line. 'stead of stickin her chin out so much...

I can't do hair either...hehe.

But the eyes are absolutely MAGNIFICENT. How do you do that?

The eyes are brilliant. They look real as real can be.
the first girls eyes, nose and mouth are perfect.
Just some work on ears and you are good to go.

Actually her left eye on the first picture is bugging me.

Eyes are spheres, so eyelids fold over them, and I dunno but the eye seems flat, and not really "perspectived" right.

the one with the pointy chin, the ear is placed too far back I think, but you referenced (i think) so I dunno.
You drew too much of the chin, like, err.... cant... find... words...
And the hair is lopsided? Like... theres a dent at the top.
