*Ok so here it goes:*
Mirrors were everywhere. Raine gazed at the reflection and found herself searching. For what she didn’t know. All she knew was that the answer was there. Suddenly her image faded and her mother’s face appeared.
“You’ve been so very bad, Ma Cherie! How could you let this happen to me?” her mother questioned.
Tears of guilt slid down Raine’s cheeks as she gazed upon her mother. She knew her mother was long dead, but she seemed so real. The face in the mirror gazed earnestly and then burst into vivacious laughter.
“You little slut! This is your entire fault!” the mirror exclaimed in between fits of laughter. “You thought you could get rid of me but guess what? I’m back!”
Raine couldn’t take it anymore. She punched the mirror with all that she had. The glass exploded and rained all over her cutting her face in a million different places. Small rivulets of blood flowed from the cuts, replacing Raine’s former tears. Satisfaction filled her, but was quickly dispelled when another mirror began laughing and another after that. Raine punched and kicked them one by one, until none were left and her hands and face were a bloody mess.
Raine fell to the ground and broke into tears once more. She let her sorrow pour out and knew that it was her fault. How could God ever forgive her? In the middle of the blackness Raine clasped her hands and prayed.
-------------
Raine sat up in her bed with a start. The constant thrumming of the rain against her window instantly relaxed her. Her hand swiped at her eyes wiping the remainder of her tears away. God, she was tired of her nightmares.
*All I have for now.*
