remember hunter drew that as guidelines rather than serious artwork (we all know how good THAT is already :P)

so, hunter, considering that's the style i like, am i doing okay? i still think the head shape needs work, personally, but the guidelines you gave me will sort that out.

Sponson Light wrote:Also hunter, in your sketch that you did, it shows the face slightly facing up, which means you should see less of a pointy chin, and more of the underside of the jaw.

its the exact same positioning as Harley's...

As for the drawing, it looks realy great, Harley--I still think the side of the face is a little off, it needs to contour to the general shape of the features.

Hmm... I don't think I could draw anime this good in 10 years... Literally...
But...
There's something wrong with the eyes in the black-haired one... Looks sorta cross-eyed... :S

If you started practicing now youd be so much better than this in 10 years... literally.
Not to offend you Harley, but it IS 10 years of practice after all. Even one month of serious practice would make you look at this and scoff, Harley.

Ive been there.
You shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, instead, you should read every single book to see what every book is about before you even come close to judging its viability.

I think I know what's wrong with the hair on the blonde one--there's no hair on the top of the head...it looks like she's bald or at least thinning on top--try adding some of that volume you girls are always talkin about ;)

...also, it looks like her chin is a little rough--kinda waveryish? Maybe you could tighten that up and point the chin a bit more, and it would look sweetness.

But yeah, somethin's up with the blue eyed one's eyes...shadows dont match up, and neither does the placement of the pupil in the eye...hmmm...not sure how to fix this...

Please don';t take this as discouragment--these are really great for only a second attempt, just as your other was great for a first attempt! Let me know if you need any other help!

I haven't seen cardcapotrs since '99... yeah... damn ... they canceled it.
I wouldn't wanna every draw so... exact as you, I mix up everything in mine (which explains why nobody likes it) but yeah. those are really good pics. Nice.

Well, for a first attempt, I liked this.

Although the eyes are a little out of proportion to the actual face/head but I liked it any way. Good work.

I like drawing Anime, but I still don't get it. By the way, does anyone know how to draw a person kneeling?

I sympathize with having no Photoshop or scanner; I use mechanical and colored pencils. It's all right, but not if you plan to make a series.

Another thing I use is Printmaster. It's okay as far as editing goes. Heaven help you if you don't have the manual, though :)

I think they're all very cute. They could be a bit neater and such like you might want to make your lines softer and your colours a little bolder but, in general, I liked them.
