Storybook Statistics

Hey everyone, I've been collecting statistics for quite a while now and I thought it would be a good time to start sharing with the citizens of YWS.

In July 2008, I thought it might be interesting to take a look at the ratio of storybooks created in the last month or so as opposed to how many have been moved to the archives so that we could get a rough idea of how many are being created each month and look at it against how many are falling into inactivity. Looks like creating storybooks is on the increase again but let's keep the quality ship-shape as well.

Aw I love this. I haven't done a storybook in ages...

I like story books, but so many of them die within a few weeks that it's difficult to invest time in them anymore. :/

Storybooks that tend to die quickly are quite often ones that haven't had a lot of thought put into the plot. If there's a firm outline and a firm leader steering the direction, it will quite often survive for longer so long as the leader isn't too domineering that is.

I've had problems with ones that seemed really well thought out too, but then it might just be the ones I'm getting into.

I think one of the problems is people joining a ton of storybooks and then forgetting about it.

True, true. There are often those who post a profile and then forget that they ever joined.
