I walked through the city. There were some peculiar companies and enterprises: Werewolf hair cuts; Troll hair adder; The leaking dwarf bottle!
I walked into a café called elf house. The café had a wooden bar table in the head of the cafe. There was a long wooden table with no legs “growing” out of the left wall. There were elves sitting on the bar table, and some round table, the long table “growing from the wall wasn’t empty either. The place had a happy but grey mood to it. It was unnaturally silent for a café. The people didn’t even look at me until I sat down on a chair and the waitress came.
“A-a human?” She mumbled
All the heads turned to me. I turned anxious.
The waitress looked at me in fear, whilst the other elves looked at me with the merged emotions of anger, fear, and hatred and… was this correct anticipation?
“Umm. Hello.” I mumbled. The waitress was still looking at me with fear.
“Umm. Could I read the menu?” I asked nervously.
Some of the elves turned away, the waitress seemed to calm a bit, and that she was soothing in the feeling of routine.
She seemed to relax a little. She leaned closer to me “Is it true what they say about you humans?” She asked
I looked at her confused. “What do they say?” I asked gazing at the girl. She seemed young, looked maybe twenty what twenty-five years old. She had the stereotypical black and white waitress suit on. Her legs were covered with something that seemed to be nylon but somehow didn’t fit the Image, the socks didn’t really anything to the imagination… on the contrary they made her look longer and also highlighted her curves.
She had very light brown hair, almost blonde. The hair was very long and straight going down to her waist.
“They say that you destroy nature.”
I looked at her. “What do you mean?”
She looked at me as if I were stupid. He fear over me was like it would have never been there.
“Destroy nature! What do you think I mean with it.”
“Let me guess then: Burning down trees, forests. Killing off whole animal races?”
I stated my hypothesis.
She nodded, to show me that I was correct.
“Well yes.” I answered, she grimaced.
“Have you destroyed the nature?” She asked me. I thought about it. It was a kind of trick question… How did se want me to answer? If I answered wrong she might be upset.
“Not in particular.” I said finally.
She just nodded. “How did you get here?” She continued asking. I told her about Mike and my house.
“You know Mike?” She cried out.
“You friends?” I asked now curious.
She let out a little laugh, not that happy kind of laugh, but the “yeah right, you wish.” kind of laugh.
“No.” She said monotonously. “He owes me money… A lot of it.”
I looked up at her pretty face, I got an idea “Say you what. I will tell you where Mike is and you show me around the town.”
She smiled at the idea and nodded “I think I can stop work now. I’ll come.”
She started taking of her white apron, as she turned her back to me and walked to a room that was closed of from the café area.
I waited for a while before standing up and going to the bar table. I ordered something called The Misty Twist. The drink wasn’t strong as such. The drink just somehow went straight to the head, without the normal passing of limbs and such. The elf girl was taking awfully long so I ordered another one.
After about my third drink the girl came from the room. She was now wearing a shirt with short sleeves and a pair of jeans. I looked in shock; the jeans were… they were tight? Our women would have never worn this kind of clothes.
She saw me staring, and asked “What? Is something wrong?”
I snapped myself out of it, and answered “Oh. Nothing, nothing.”
She smiled to me and said “Lets go!”
