That said, I will give you a critique, and if you have any problems with it, please PM me personally.
Ignorance, stupidity
Is all there seems to be.
Shallow hearts and minds.
The opposite of me.
Ah, typical. Perhaps shed the cliches and say something original so we can actually see what you are driving at? As is, it's not much of a hook, and I'm bored already.
Your not alone.
I know your pain.
And i would like to bare.
This burden that you carry.
Your should be you're. i should be capitalized. Bare should be bear, and remove the period after it. Also, the period after alone should be a semi-colon. Now that the grammatical stuff is out of the way, this section as a whole is just another cliche. To quote Khaled Hosseini about cliches: "Avoid them like the plague."
For im always there.
I will be your heart.
Promise to be your grace.
Swear to always to wear a smile.
im should be I'm, and all those periods should be commas, except for the first one. Again, cliches.
To be your pretty face.
Im your little secret.
Your little hidden book.
The one you need in case your lost.
I'm and you're, dear. Learn the differences. Pretty face is unoriginal, but hidden book? I like that line, so congrats.
If you just take the time to look.
You think im just some nobody.
That random person from the street.
But you couldnt be more wrong.
I'm not going to bother to make any more comments about your atrocious grammar, because I'd rather not sit here all day.
Im a treasure.
That tasty sweet.
Will you trust my words?
Will you turn away?
Cliches, cliches, and oh! Someone's a little full of themselves, hmm? This is where your readers get fed up and stop reading.
Will you cover your ears?
Deaf to what i say.
Im that special friend.
The one that will care.
If you have a problem.
Just know that im there.
Not a good ending at all, darling. Beginnings should make you see, and endings should make you remember.
Overall, this poem has a lack of actual poetry. You can't just arrange word prettily across a page and masquerade it as a poem. Your's has no rhythm, and barely any flow. Some of your lines, like the one about the hidden book, are fantastic, but the overflow of unoriginality is horrid. You have to have similes and metaphores, an actual theme. You have to make me actually want to read this. Best way to learn to write poetry is to read it. I'd recommend Edgar Allen Poe, William Shakespeare, and Emily Dickenson.
That said, keep writing, because I'd really like to see you improve. Have a wonderful day, dear.
