Define that Simile!

I thought this might be fun:

Post a simile, can be as random you like, but then the next person has to define it, namely, explain why it's true. Then they post one.

I'll go first:

Goats are like toilet seats...

...because they'll eat anything.

Chocolate is like a dead baby...

because you can bury both of them.


carrots are like willow trees.

...because both of which are crunchy when you bite into them.

Old ladies are like mayonnaise..

...because they both smell, distinctly, and not in a good way.

True love is like South Africa...

... because it can get hot

romance can be like a sandwich

because it can be torn apart quickly.

Ducks are like orange juice

... Because they both taste great.

Shower gel is like death.

Because they both affect how you smell


Ice is like fire

... because it burns as well.

Cereals are like silver...

Because they're expensive and taste bad.

YWS is like a clock.

Because it's made of all sorts of disparate parts that work well together.

A Tyrannosaurus Rex is like sugar because...

you can eat 'em. Mind you, T. rex isn't very tasty...

*ahem* Simile? Alright then:

Trees are like ignorance.

Leave it unchecked long enough and it will grow.
