SORA- pencil version

How did I do? Later on I will post a photoshop version. ^_^
this is my first time drawing him ^_^

Yay! I love Kingdom Hearts and I love Sora. Your Sora is very beautiful, if a little young looking. This drawing is quite different from the way I would work - your lines are all very clean - much more mangaesque than my work.

When you photoshop, play especially with the contrast, ok. this is too dark right now. And it seems like I'm always saying this but try to add some more variation of tone. Your work will be more dramatic if you do!

I was going to say that Sora means sky in Japanese, but you already knew that, I see.

Thanks ^_^ I worked hard on this. I had never drew Sora before, but it was fun. Sure I will make sure to vary. I am going to try and color it in photoshop. Its really hard to get rid of the pencil marks. (EVIL)
But I have an awsome perfectionist as my friend and she offered to get rid of the pencil marks so I can color it

umm....does that mean you do not like them?? Just curious. I drew him manga style ^_^

There isn't one "manga style," you know. I just thought the eyes look kinda weird, like they're all one
color. *shrugs*

I know there are more than one style, but this one is more similar to the style from the Kingdom Hearts Manga. Have you heard of it? Its not very good, it is missing alot of importants parts.
Ok, I can understand that, next time I draw some anime eyes I'll make sure that there are differences in colors ^_^

eh, your not missing much. I mean its really cute, but if you haven't heard of the game you have no idea what is happening.

It's a nice drawing. I'm not a big KH fan but I like it. Very good picture of him. The lines are so clean. I'm also not really into Manga (or is it anime) basically I'm a fan of those type drawings. I drew a picture of Sonic the Hedgehog that was about in that style. Wish I could find the notebook that it was in but I have so many of them it hard to keep track.

It really isn't that good. I mean you wouldn't know it was Sonic. It was more of doodle.

You're really neat, but I do agree a little with the eye comment. They're kind of- empty. When I draw manga eyes I usually give them pupils or make them shiny-looking, but you're much better than me!
Did you scan it into the computer or what?
