no one sees what you put your heart into
in a scratched up binder bent out of shape.
their papers flapping in the wind
you don't care when they get away

dear diary, oh sweet diary
the only thing keeping you
through the years

everything was centered around
pessimism and you refused to love

when no one sees
past the bright red bind
with your gel pen cursive
smearing every page
you speak with emptiness
since there's nothing inside

perhaps you are vague
when there's nowhere to go, it's time to grow up.

It's good that you keep trying because you CAN write. I like this muchly and have no comments to make.
Please, sit down before you fall down.

I really liked this; it drove the point home well. I wasn't exactly fond of the last line, but the rest was great. Nice

Wow! I. Morgan Harper wrote a poem with a point. It's time to celebrate now.
when there's nowhere to go, it's time to grow up.

There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside of you.
