She could fell them both moving, but staying still at the same time. She moved her head down. She felt like she was going to throw up when it stopped.
She looked up to find that she was no longer laying on her bed, or even in her room for that fact. She looked around. Ahead of her was a fireplace, blazing. The room around her was dark due to the large black curtains on the windows and covering the wall to her left. She looked down at her wrists to see that they were tied. So were her legs. She started to panic. She looked up to see the glass ceiling. She noticed that the chair she was in was much larger then her and could probably fit one more of her in there.
" Are you comfy?" said the eery voice of Malvo, as her chair was swung around to face him on the other side of the chair.
" I would be...if your face wasn't infront of me!" snarked Meldey, turning her face from him to aviod the smell of his breath.
" Oh! I see then, well..." he started as he again put both hands on each side of the chair and pulled himself close to her face," ... thats just too bad for you then, isnt it!"
Malvo released one of his hand and placed it on the side of her face, stroking her face with his thumb.
"Please stop!" she whimpered, wincing at his touch.
" Oh...is this bothering you? So Sorry " he said sarcastic while putting on an evil grin.
"MALVO! Step away from her!" an icy, yet so familiar vocie echoed in the room.
Malvo's eyes widened with fear and was quick to obey the other of the strangely dressed man at the door. He stood up straight and raised his chin up.
"Sorry Sir, was just making sure that she isn't wearing the recording technology." Malvo reply quickly with hast.
"You mean a 'wire' right? I know what your talking about, I keep up with the times. Unlike your outfit. Now leave us... Theres much to talk about." Said the man, as he walked down a small set of wide stairs towards them both. Malvo bowed towards the man and sneered," as you wish...Master." He turned and stormed out of the room.
" Oh and Malvo?" shouted out the man just as he got to the door.
"Yes sire?" Malvo stopped and replyed.
" Close the door behind you."
"Grr... yes Sir."
Malvo slammed the french doors behind him. The man now standing infront of Meldey was just outside of the light, so she wasnt able to get a good look at his face. But she could see the rough details of the strange outfit he was wearing.
He was wearing an black oversized full cloak, decorated with silver crystals and beads in ancient looking designs. The cloak went down to the floor, making it inpossble to see his feet. She looked up to his face to notice that she could only see the bottom half of his face. The rest was covered by his cloak.
" You are probably wondering why you are here?" started the man as he lifted his arms to the ceiling, looking back and forth at his hand, then lowering his arms to his sides and his face to her, "well, that is why I am here. To tell you, an innocent unaware human, of what you are part of."
"And what could that be? The new kid-in-town Society?" she reply sarcasticly while rolling her eyes.
The man smiled at this comment. He turned around and walked forward. She looked at what he could be walking towards, when she notice a book stand that had not been there before. The man stopped at the book stand and waved his hand over the stand. As if the book had been there the whole time, it appeared as his hand left the stand. Meldey gasped and started to panic, struggling within the chair. She noticed though that the more she struggled, the tighter the wrappings got.
"Oh I wouldn't do that if I were you." the man warned , tilting his head in her direction.
"Oh yea? well your not me are you?"
"True, but those aren't regular wrappeings. The more you struggle, the closer you put your self to death by stranglation."
Meldey stopped quickly with the man finishing. She slowly shifted back into her orginal place. Suddenly she realized that the more relazed that she became, the ropes became looser.
" See...I told you."
" What is all this about? Like is this some sort of Cult? And why are these wrappings like that? Are they Magic? ANSWER ME!" yelled out Meldey as the man pulled over a chair and sat infront of her, with the book apon his lap.
"Tsk tsk, so many questions and no patience. We'll have to work on that," the man began," First off, please don't insult me. I am not running a cult. They are pitiful wastes of time for people that want to die together. Second, yes...the wrappings are magic, thats why I warned you."
"But Magic doesn't Exsist!" yelled out Meldey, shaking her head back and forth.
"Oh but my dear", started the man, looking her striaght in her eyes," It does! How do you explain the wrappings? How you got her so fast? Malvo's little timestop he preformed with you in your kitchen the first day you meet? All of it...is Magic!"
The man looked down to the book in his lap and sighed."But of course I didnt expect you to understand right away. Well at lest without some help."
"What kinda help do you mean?" questioned Meldey.
" Do you know what this book is?" asked the man, leaving room for her to reply, in which she didn't, so he continued," Of course you dont. Its a memory book. But not just for me, or you, your mother, Malvo...No no no! It's the memory book, of an entirely different world! Might be hard to understand now, but you will in few minutes time."
The man now stood up from where he sat, holding the book close to him. He walked a few feet towards Meldey, and placing a wicked smile apon his face. Meldey looked at him and tilted her face away in disgust and fear. The man stopped his walk about a foot away from her, his smile wipped from his face.
" Now, my most hopefull human, you are going to see and REMEMBER what memories that you have lost in your time in this world! Prepare yourself!" the man yelled aloud as he ripped open the book and shoved it infront of her face.
Meldey looked away at first, then glanced towards it, in having her sight mesmorized by the blank pages. At first thats all it was. An open book with blank pages. She looked up at the man, who to her surprise, had vanished! A slight breeze flew apon her face, though it was clear she was inside. Then a light. A light came, slowy at first, then brighter and brighter from the center of the book, untill the entire book beamed with light. It seemed to swallow her whole, forcing her into a new place. All the colors of the rainbow swirled around her as she flew through the air to a far away land.
She flew over purpled mountains and over seas of lava. Over forests that the trees were fighting with the animals and birds. Over great cities made of branch buildings and paper, metal and stone. Over tiny villages where the folk looked too small to be adults, and over tribes that looked like star basketball players. Then came the rush of events. Wars amoung the creatures of this world, parties of the lands and political gatherings amoung all the different types of creatures. But there was one event that struck her the most.
As she was flying through these memories, humans came into the picture. Thousands of them, lead by what looked like Napoleon and Julius Caesar, King Tutankhamen and Christopher Columbus. All the historical leaders with one single army, fighting against the creatures. And at the end of the battle, the humans had won and forced the creatures to live under the earths shell. The flashes of suffering and a built up hatred for humans could be seen on all the faces of creatures.
Then the creatures seemed to look at her, and charge towards her! They drew out their weapons and bared teeth as they violently ran towards her with the utmost hatred. She raised her arms in fear and screamed.
