The Ramblings of a Book Hugger

No, I will not tell you my real name (it's a fairly old name) But I will ramble on about different things about me

First off, I'm a complete book hugger. I have always read books, even as a little kid (and I will always keep reading.) My bookcase is filled with mostly fantasy and some manga. I have been recently reading romance fiction (thanks to Twilight) and vampire fiction (thanks to Twilight). I rarely read/watch anything that has to do with Sci Fi except for Doctor Who and The Host (and various alien-bursts-through-chest movies that I watch with my dad). Also, my vision of the Volturi has been changed forever by the Vampire Chronicles (in a good way).

Another thing that is probably a little uncommon - before this March, I actually despised writing (thanks to research papers) but I changed my mind when I joined the Arch Angel fandom ^-^ Ever since then, I've been writing fanfiction on and off. I don't really know why I write (maybe because it's fun? I like fun). Someday, I might even create original characters and write my little heart out (which I doubt will be soon).

Besides my incurable obsessions of reading novels/manga, I also love to listen to music. Buut, I have to be completely honest - I am biased when it comes to music. I mostly listen to rock (some 70s, 80s, 90s, now) and some pop, but I really don't like rap, hip hop (well, there's a few songs that are catchy), and country (I'd take country over rap any day). If you are a Muse/Green Day/The Killers fan, I'd love to have a chat with you ^-^

I have a 5-year-old male Yorkie (adorable but lazy)
I can't listen to music while writing/roleplaying (unless it's a paper for school)
I always have to be wearing socks when I go to bed
I unintentionally (most of time) talk LOUD (24/7, no kidding)
I absolutely love Johnny Depp's movies
I am always pale and try to keep out of the sun (I have a vampiric rep to hold on to, jk)
I wear contacts (I wear glasses in the morning)
I like History and Science (it's an added plus when the teachers happen to actually have a sense of humor)
I don't really like MySpace *ducks rotten veggies* (Forums are way more fun)
I really like musicals (Grease, The Producers, Moulin Rouge, Sweeney Todd)

Umm...I think that's about it! I hope I didn't bore you with my likes and dislikes (I also hate humidity and rain)

I hate the sun too, I'm pale. I swear I'm near becoming a vampire. I also like Johnny Depp and musicals too! I like Science class also....I love to read too. I haven't read Manga, but I'm sure it's good. I am fantasy person, but I write and review almost anything.

I love musicals too! The Producers makes me cry from laughing.

InuYasha's one of my favorites, too. Although, I've got an obsession with Haji, so InuYasha's a bit farther down on the list... ^.^

I don't like the sun either, but that could be because I'm down here with the hot, Floridian sun with Yankee blood flowing through my veins, but whatever. And History and Science are my favorite subjects.

I like History too, and I'm new here but catching on pretty quick. I just hate the sun, I don't know why, i live in Wisconsin. It could be because I got sunburnt so badly I couldn't move for a week.

One time, I was at a baseball game with my dad, we left after 6 innings and I had the worst sunburn on the base of my neck *shudders* I recieved so many looks after that...

Yes, it's kind of funny how that works out. I do like warmth (I like cold better), it's just that UV rays are my worst enemy (next to mosquitoes, that is)

I also absolutely loathe rain and humidity (heh, which means that I pretty much hate where I'm currently living, but I move a lot)

yeah...strangely...mosquitos just love me...I hate where I live too...I like cold too...

How ironic, they love my blood too! I mean, no kidding, I was reading (or something of the sort) in my own house and I found about 4 bites on my neck, and a couple more near my ears. Colorado is the best place to live (in my opinion, because it can get very cold and there's barely any bugs! Although, I was in Colorado when I got that horrible sunburn, and the altitude is a lot higher there which means you get closer to the sun.)

cool, maybe I'll move there now, that's a great idea, one time I was eating outside in a tent and I scratched my leg and seen four mosquito bites on my leg right next to each other!

It also seems that Off! spray doesn't even work (sometimes I wonder if it's just made of water and sugar)

I think that Off! should be called ON!

Ha, so true! I find that the best remedy is to just stay indoors Which works out perfectly, since all I do all day (well, it is summer break) is hang out here, watch tv, read, and write.

I agree completely I stay inside too!
