Just thought I'd put it up here, I was feeling really inspired when I wrote this.

Friends; this is a word which has a very special meaning in my heart. Over the world, it is said that true friends are the ones who never spill out their secrets or the ones with whom you can talk about your deepest, darkest secret and not feel guilty. It is also assumed that the true friends are very hard to find. I think it is so, because the best of friends are mine. I can go on talking about my two best friends, who, according to me, have all the qualities to be considered life-long friends. I could even write a book about the wonderful time I spent with them getting ourselves into or out of trouble, but for now I only wish to write a small article about what makes them so special.

So there I am- trying to figure out the algebra sum or thinking about what to wear for the party next day. What’s going to be my next move? What it always is….I get up, walk over to the phone and dial my friend’s phone number and talk over my heart to her. And we don’t know how, but somehow from the topic of math we end up discussing the very important topic of which movie we should watch next Saturday. You might call it a distraction, that’s what most of them say, but to us it’s yet another time which will remain in our heart….forever. Or at least till the time we have our next non-stop chatting session over the phone. OK, so reading this someone out there is probably frowning and thinking of how much our phone bill must be but these 3-hour chats do make me feel better, they get my mood right and remind me that whenever I need help I have someone to turn to-which is priceless and can get over any phone bill, anytime!

I wouldn’t like to call ourselves a “gang” but we do have a little group of our own and we don’t allow anything silly like boys, fights or even studies to get in our way and prevent us from having the time of a lifetime. So go ahead, talk about how being in a small group can make us socially unable or label us as “introverts” but there is one little thing I want to remind all of you’ll. A little saying- Friends should be like books, well-chosen and a few. So I don’t care if the next time, I have only 10 friendship bands while others have 20 because I know those 20 friendship bands are going to end up in the garbage at the end of the day and my 10 friendship bands, in my memories!

Wow, I really liked that! It's really true.

I wouldn’t like to call ourselves a “gang” but we do have a little group of our own and we don’t allow anything silly like boys, fights or even studies to get in our way and prevent us from having the time of a lifetime.

I have a big group of friends and they call themselves a posse. I don't think it fits but that's them, they're werid. But this sentance totally fits me and my friends!

Great job!

Good luck,

Sunny

Nice little short and sweet piece, but I do have a couple of suggestions for you, if I may be so bold!

Friends, this is a word which has a very special meaning in my heart.

I would replace the comma after the first word, with a semi-colon, purely for emphasis...

This opening paragraph would also make for a great opening paragraph of a novel or at least a short story so lets hope my review inspires you into getting creative with this piece again!

Hey! Have you already submitted this to the magazine authorities? I reviewed this, so take a look.

I have an affinity for magazine articles cuz I used to be in the Editorial Team of our old school's magazine!

Anyway, about your article:

It's well written and has a well balanced structure of humour and seriousness. Really reflects your friendship's depth...dunno how many readers will be able to connect with such profound friendship. Here are some mistakes/suggestion:

It is also assumed that the true friends are very hard to find.

How about---"They say true friends are the rare diamonds in a coal mine"

The "assume " bit makes your sentence rather doubtful of its statement.

I think it is so, because the best of friends are mine.

This doesn't make any sense to me. Besides, I can't find the connectivity with the previous sentence.

I could even write a book about the wonderful time I spent with them getting ourselves into or out of trouble, but for now I only wish to write a small article about what makes them so special.

The dash makes it better punctuated and might I suggest putting in a parentheses joke(I always put them):

I could even write a book (actually, I am) about the wonderful time I spent with them getting ourselves into or out of trouble, but for now I only wish to write a small article about what makes them so special.

Your novel is about your friends, I presume?

we don’t allow anything silly like boys.

Haha, that was funny. Maybe you'll change your mind in the years ahead!

What it always is….I get up, walk over to the phone and dial my friend’s phone number and talk over my heart to her.

Grammar error. Change to: talk my heart out.

one little thing I want to remind all ofyou’ll.

The "'ll" isn't supposed to be there. It should simply be "remind all of you" OR "remind you all"

And maybe you could put the saying in Italics.

and my 10 friendship bands, in my memories!

Good ending... but, "in my memories" somehow suggest that the bands won't be with you, it's only their memories you'll possess. I'd suggest:

and my 10 friendship bands...safe in my keepsake box and in my memories...

Yeah, the exclamation mark if replaced with "..." will keep intact the emotions of your article. The ! makes it sound light-hearted but you want your friendship strong, right?

Tip:
Put your friendship in print: Dedicate this to your friends in the magazine! You should request the teacher in charge and ask her to allow you to write a subtitle:

On Friends

Dedicated to my best friends *insert name of friend 1* and *insert name of friend 2*
Calvin : You can't just turn on creativity like a faucet. You have to be in the right mood.
Hobbes : What mood is that?
Calvin : Last-minute panic.

Wow!
Amazing!
I think this magazine will love this article!
Just a few typos here and there.

I have noticed that all friends have made up their own little 'gang', its so true!
Whether it be hobbies, or foods, or something weird like a color.

Even in Kindergarten, kids will make their own little gangs.

I really like this, and I am sure your school will too!
Then I find,
I feel this passion grow,
To face all that's been lost,
It's not too late to give control now.
Got YWS?
