A hundred days have made me older,
Since the last time that I saw your pretty face,
A thousand lies have made me colder,
And I don't think I can look at this the same,
But all the miles that separate,
Disappear now when I'm dreaming of your face…

Harry
I’m thinking about her again. This is bad. Really bad. Considering I’m out in the wilderness, looking for Horcruxes with Ron and Hermione. But I can’t help it. It even comforts me to think of her. That long, sweet-smelling hair, the kiss that could take the breath away from a thousand angels, and the body of a goddess. I take a glance downward, but I know full well of the aroused state I’m growing in.

A year ago, I’d thought that was completely taboo considering Ginny is Ron’s little sister. But now, it’s so normal to me that I force myself to think about it. Especially during times like this. When I’m lonely and Ron and Hermione have each other, even though they’re still not together. Which, to be honest, is slightly disturbing, but also relieving. I don’t think I could handle them being together at the moment. I wonder if it’s my being selfish?

I have a photograph of her in my rucksack. She’s giving me that winning smile that could melt the heart of any man lucky enough to get with her, then she twirls around, hair whipping at her face, then looks at me again. She then blows me a kiss and winks. It starts over. Why does she have to be so perfect? And me being so far away; I can’t touch her, I can’t taste her, I can’t love her in a way no other man should be able to.

It’s downright maddening! But, I must. I must keep my sanity, oh lord, especially during times like this! I hear a noise and my head snaps to the left. Drawing my wand, I realize it’s an owl hooting. You can never be too careful.

I'm here without you baby,
But you're still on my lonely mind,
I think about you baby,
And I dream about you all the time,
I'm here without you baby,
But you're still with me in my dreams,
And tonight it's only you and me…

Ron and Hermione are in the tent sleeping, or so I think. I’ve heard them before talking about various things: me and the Horcruxes and it actually annoys me greatly because they themselves refused to let me go by myself and I insisted, insisted I go alone, but they did not hear me. And if they did, they did not listen. Ron’s temper, although short as it is, is growing even shorter for the fact that we’ve only been able to find one Horcrux. And we’re still trying to figure out how to destroy it.

I also hear them talking about what they are going to do after this “adventure” of ours. I’ve heard Ron saying numerous times that he will never leave Hermione’s side and that he loves her to bits. I’ve heard Hermione saying pretty much the same thing, only she cries. And it hurts. It hurts greatly to know that I’m stuck with no one in this hell-hole, but with two people I’ve grown to respect, love like a brother and sister, and would literally die for.

I sigh. Oh Ginny. I long to feel you under me while I enter you. Your sweet, supple breasts rubbing against my bare chest, your deliciously freckled skin being kissed and sucked by my lips, your legs straddling me by the waist and your tight…

“HARRY!” Hermione bellows from inside the tent.

I’m startled. I look down and see that I have a bulge that’s just begging to escape my pants. Quickly, I try to think of something completely non-sexual: Quidditch, Mrs. Norris, Uncle Vernon…

I cringe and nearly gag at the thought of my uncle and I look down and thankfully my once aroused state is no more.

I leap from my spot at the foot of the tree just inches from the tent and I run in wondering what the hell is going on.

“What’s wrong!?”

“It’s Ron! Look at him! I think his condition’s growing worse!”

My heart stops for a moment and out of instinct, I grab Hermione’s bag and give it to her. She starts rummaging through it frantically and I place my hand on her shoulder. She jumps a little, but looks at me and I say, “He’ll be alright, Hermione.”

With tears in her eyes, she nods. Five minutes later, Ron’s calmed down and he and Hermione are hugging the life out of each other.

One month later (December 12th, 1997)…

I’ve been keeping a journal. Not a diary! Ron would’ve surely taken the mickey out of me if that were the case. Merlin, I can‘t believe that bloody git left! Honestly, what did he think was going to happen!? We were going to finish this effing hunt of Voldemort’s pieces of soul within a month!? Surely, he’s got more sense than that! But no… He’s proved me wrong. Damn. But anyway, about my journal. The very first page, I wrote about nothing but Ginny Weasley and how unbelievably amazing she is, in every way imaginable! I know I sound like a love-struck teenager, even a cheesy one at that, but it’s true. She is honestly the ONLY thing, the ONLY thing keeping me sane right now. I think about her and my heart soars…

Two months later (February 12th, 1998)…

The miles just keep rollin',
As the people leave their way to say hello,
I've heard this life is overrated,
But I hope that it gets better as we go…

Ginny
I’m looking out the window in the dorm I share with Katrina Larson and Quinne Bennigan and can not stop thinking about Harry and where he could possibly be in the world. Imagine that? I’ve been thinking about the man for more than eight months now and I’m no less out of my mind than I was before. In fact, I could safely say that I’m down-right eligible for the insanity ward at St. Mungo’s.

Haha, love is a silly thing, isn‘t it? It makes you do crazy things; things you’d never, in your wildest imagination, think you’d ever do; it also makes you think. Long and hard. Too long, in fact, that it interferes with life. You can’t stop thinking about the person. When you think about the one that has captured your heart in its entirety, your heart goes bonkers and you’re landed with detentions with Snape for drooling on your desk while daydreaming about the night you finally (if it ever freaking happens) lose your virginity to ‘the Chosen One’.

I take a deep breath and exhale through my nose. I hear Katrina in the back, snoring so lightly, it’s almost inaudible.

Ah, Katrina. She has a small crush on Neville, which is funny really. Katrina is so loud and in many ways, like Ron’s ex, Lavender Brown, whereas Neville’s a, well, he’s Neville. Haha, what on earth would Katrina find in Neville that is just so damn attracting? Most likely the fact that he’s a year older than us. But, it’s too bad on her part anyway because Neville’s already got a “heart pounder” on his mind. Oh yes, he’s been talking to me a lot lately about none other than the famous, little Luna Lovegood.

I'm here without you baby,
But you're still on my lonely mind,
I think about you baby,
And I dream about you all the time,
I'm here without you baby,
But you're still with me in my dreams,
And tonight girl its only you and me…

I’m crying now. Not because Neville fancies Luna and there’s a great possibility she feels the same, but because they’ve got love. It’s not hiding somewhere I have no idea, no effing iota of a thought of where it is!

I hear a ruffling behind me, but I don’t look back. And then I hear a voice. Quinne’s voice. Her strained, very tired voice, “Ginny?”

I still don’t look back. She has never, in all six years that we’ve shared a dorm, seen me cry. I’ve seen her cry about a hundred times before and I’ve comforted her the majority of those times. But I am not weak! Not saying she is, but I do not cry. I don’t weep, sob, or run away in a flurry of tears like other emotional girls do. I suspect that’s partially why boys are so attracted to me. They break my heart and I’m over it within a week. I suppose that’s the benefit of being the youngest of seven children, even better growing up with six brothers.

“Why are you still awake? It’s two AM,” Quinne walked over zombie-like. “Ginny?”

I turn just slightly.

“Oh, Ginny! What’s the matter?” Quinne rushes to my side and captures me in a pathetic, half-asleep hug. “It’s Harry, isn’t it?”

That’s what I like about Quinne. She’s no Luna, whom is one my best mates, but she’s got the intuition of the goddess of Venus. I don’t even have to say anything and she knows what’s up.

I take another deep breath and it comes out, to my horror, as ragged sobs and she hugs me tighter. “Tell me all about it, sweetie.”

After ten minutes of sleepy, non-sense, I finally feel ready to sleep.

Everything I know, and anywhere I go,
It gets hard but it wont take away my love,
And when the last one falls,
When it's all said and done,
It gets hard but it wont take away my love…

“He loves you, Ginny. I swear by the life of me, you will soon be Mrs. Harry Potter. I guarantee you that. He’s thinking about you. Wondering how you are. And even if I’m wrong about all this, not only will I die-,” we chuckle at this, “but he will never forget you. Ever. Mark my words, Ginny Weasley. ‘The Chosen One’ will come back for you. I promise you that. I know it’s hard, but a little more patience will suffice in the long run.”

I swallow hard and smile. Those damn tears! I give them an inch and they take a mile.

Three more months later (May 2nd, 1998 - 5 AM)…

I'm here without you baby,
But you're still on my lonely mind,
I think about you baby,
And I dream about you all the time,
I'm here without you baby,
But you're still with me in my dreams,
And tonight girl its only you and me…

Harry
It’s over. It’s finally effing over!

I yell out in frustration, happiness, euphoria, heartbreak, love, hate, mourning, desperation, depression, and every bloody emotion imaginable to no one in particular. He’s gone and now I can live the life I’ve always wanted to live. Being happy. Being loved and loving another.

Right then, the most beautiful thing I’ve ever set eyes on comes walking up to me through the pouring rain. She does not look right in this scene of hell.

Now, she’s standing in front of me with eyes full of questions and I really have to thank Merlin for this one: her eyes have not lost their sparkle. Even though she lost a brother, hadn’t seen me in about a year, had to endure the Carrows all year; she was strong. Stronger than I even.

And then I just blurt it out, “Will you marry me?”

As soon as she said, “Yes.” fireworks exploded in her eyes. And then we kissed.

DANG! all i can say is DANG! this is like a good version of the potter films, i have never been a "fan" of potter or the films, allthough the special effects are good in places; but if this was made into a film (would be short but good) then i would go and see it. Good work!

I really loved this! It was the perfect length, you described the characters thoughts and feelings very well, I thought that it really stayed true to the characters, and the books. I loved that you went along with the events of book seven. In so many fan fictions, the story takes place in another time not shown in the books, but I liked that you didn't do that. Good work! Keep writing!

You wrote this in a way that you kept me glued to the screen, and it was beautiful.
