Dusky's Art (HEAVEN FORBID!)

I spent most of today working on this, although I was thinking about it all last night but didn't have the time (or the brain capacity) to work on it.

Once again, I blame the chick side of me... and I'm starting to wonder about this new obession with drawing gorgeous dresses (both of the last two drawings have girls wearing dresses I would love to own)

The lyrics are from Wishes by Superchic[k] which has become a song very near and dear to me. It was bound to show up on one of these pictures sooner or later. The full lyrics are:

And here we have yet another Superchic[k] inspired piece. lol. The lyrics one this one are from "Courage". That particular line probably hit me the hardest off the entire album, which is saying alot since Beauty From Pain was a particularly powerful CD for me.

Wow! These are all really good! Now you just need to add shading! I love them, maybe you should make some avatars with your work.

Whoa, you are really getting better at this. They looks so real. I like the creases in the clothing. Awesomeness.

Danke danke, both of you. I'm working on figuring out how to do shading on these as we speak. *looks a computer and laughs evilly as she sees it quake in fear at the thought of her trying to do something new* mwahaha...

I haven't updated this for a while, but I just have to come in here and show off (well, show I'm excited, I suppose would be a better description).

This is one of Bobo's drawing which he was a darling and gave me permission to steal (is is still stealing if you have permission?) and color. And I'm no where near finished yet (still got all the lovely shading to do), but I just love her face, so... lookee!!!

I'm excited to see the finished product of your colored version of my pic. It looks amazingly similar to how I imagined it. I mean- the hair is like the exact color of hair I'd do. O_o
