Sweet October

I love the month October.
I love how it feels, smells, and the atmosphere.
You just got to love it.
It is nice and cool.

The weather changing from summer to fall.
The leaves changing on the tree.
I love the different colors.
It is always so pretty.

When the leaves start to fall I love collecting them.
The way they look all wrinkly and soft and delicate.
I place it in a scrapbook of different colored leaves.
All my friend love looking at them.

Then when Halloween comes around,
Well a lot happens.
I like picking out my costume that I get to pretend to be.
I get to be who I would like to be for a day.

I like having the candy.
I always have a lot by the time I am all finished.
My parents check it for any open candy.
I don’t care I at least get to eat the candy.

Then a month later it is time for a dentist appointment.
They always give me one after I eat all that candy.
The results of each appointment isn’t well
I have a lot of cavities.

That is the whole point of Halloween.
I love the month October.
A lot goes on in that month.
This is why this month is so sweet.

Where it says, "All my friend love looking at them"
it should say friends.

I like having the candy.

I always have a lot by the time I am all finished.

My parents check it for any open candy.

I don’t care I at least get to eat the candy.

I think this sounds a bit awkward... maybe you could rearrange the words, or add some.

I like the choice of words when you describe what the leaves look like.

Ashlee got everything. I did notice that there wasn't a rhyme scheme but free verse is better anyway. My favorite stanza was
