King of Carrot Flowers pt 1

I drew this last summer. It's based off the Neutral Milk Hotel song "King of Carrot Flowers pt 1"
So... if you're familiar with the song I suppose you'll recognize some of the images! It's a very good song - I suggest a download for that one.

Like it a lot. unique style to your drawing idea and ability. Not fully understanding the carrots, but that's why I take it to be original. who has ever drawn two lovers in a carrot field. The closest thing we've ever had to this was Bugs and Lola in Space jam.

I'm new to this whole reviewing thing but I'm going to give it a try... Wow. This is different, that's for sure. I would have never thought of this. This is great. I actually, like that song, even if it is kind of weird. But, anywho, I really like it. I love how you included the secret place and all that actual stuff in the song.

just understood that the drawing was based on a song.....Picture is still good and you have an artistic hand, but the originality has somewhat diminished due to the fact that the idea was not yours.

It's like me falling in love with the way jim Sturgess sings "Strawberry field" though he didn't write it.

Still good picture, but I would like to see you draw an idea linger in your own head.

I do art as a hobby. For fun, I draw songs I like. *shrugs* Personally, I think there is originality in interpretation.

i've never heard the song, so i feel sort of...left out? i don't know. things probably wouldn't be much clearer if i heard it.

Aghh curse you!!! I am sooo jealous. There is so much going on in this picture and your details are amazing. I really like how nobody really has eyes. I just can't get over your talent!! I mean you are a fantastic writer and you are an amazing artist. What can't you do?

This is incredible! I'm in love with this picture! First of all, this is one of my favorite songs. Second of all, your drawing expresses it so perfectly. I understood everything you were showing. I wish I could draw like that. This is excellent, a perfect representation of a beautiful song.
