[random curiousity - why would Edward call when he can run? Just throwing it out there ^.^ ]

Bella

I answered the phone, smiling as Charlie rolled his eyes and walked back to the couch.

"Hey Edward."

"How's a game of baseball sound tonight?" My mind flashed back to the first game of baseball. It was fairly disasterous.

"Sure," I answered, not wanting to pass up a chance to see the family.

"I'll come pick you up," Edward promised, hanging up the phone.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Alice

I danced across the floor, feeling quite graceful today.

Granted, I always felt graceful.

Jasper had just turned out of his room. I smiled, jumping into his arms.

"Hello," I said, grinning up at him.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gir

I walked through the house.

I wanted a taco. I like tacos. I likes em gooood.

Anywho...

I was starting to rain. And when it rains my doggie suit gets itchy, so I tooked it off.

"Whoo! I'm naked!!" I squealed, running around the house in circles.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Captain Jack Sparrow

I stood on the docks, staring out as the black sails of my ship floated over the horizon.

"Gibbs, why is my ship leaving? Again?" I asked, keeping my voice calm, but making sure the sarcasm was quite noticable.

"It's not...it's right," Gibbs turned, saw the ship sailing away. "...there..."

"There is a storm about to start, my ship is leaving without it's captain, and you are drunk. How do you suppose we fix this problem?"

"...pub?" I nodded my consent and we left the docks, walking toward the nearest pub.

*this is going great, and meeting at the baseball field will be a great idea!*

I pulled on my leather jacked, noticing the rain outside. Looking down the hall, he saw Jasper and Alice messing around.

"Heading to get Bella, be back in a few." he said to them before running out the door. He ran over to the volvo and started over to Bellas house. 'I wonder if Charlie has gotten over hating me yet... maybe i should find out' he thought with a snicker.

Pulling over to the side of the road, he got out of the car, went up to the house, and knocked on the door.

"Hey Charlie, is Bella ready?"

'Scum' he heard Charlie say, "Yeah, shell be down in a minute. BELLA!" he yelled for her through the house.

Edward chuckled and waited as Bella came out of the kitchen and headed towards the door.

Jasper Hale

I smiled and hugged Alice quickly as she practically leaped into my arms. "Come on, let's get to the field and set up so we can start playing once Edward and Bella get there."

She nodded and flitted off to find Esme and Carlisle. I turned to knock on Emmet's door.

"We're preparing for a baseball game. Care to join us?"

His eyes lit up. "Yeah, be right out. I'll grab Rose," he said, his words becoming muffled after he shut the door mid-sentence. I chuckled quietly to myself and trudged upstairs to change into a pair of cruddy jeans, a plain navy-blue shirt and scuffed up shoes. On my way out, I grabbed Emmet's baseball cap and twirled it idly on my finger, whistling as I made my way outside.

It was storming outside. The wind howled it's protest at the trees blocking its way and the rain pelted everything that didn't have the appropriate cover. I stood on the porch and waited for Alice. She appeared at my side in a matter of seconds.

"They're gonna meet us there," she reported.

"Shall we?" I asked in mock-formal tones, offering her my arm. She took and and together we stepped out into the storm.

Logan (Wolverine)

I sped down the street on a motorcycle much like the one Scott used to have before Jean...

"No!" I growled. "Don't think about it!"

I shook my head forcefully and charged across the country at speeds that seemed impossible. I would reach Washington within the hour. But to find the mutant? Who knew how long that would take.

Tony Stark (Iron Man)

"Sir, might I ask where you intend to go tonight?"

"Forks," I replied. "I've got a friend there who I haven't seen in quite a few years. Since I can't show myself in any major cities yet, I'd figure I'd pay Charlie a visit."

The lights below me suddenly disappeared, replaced by a darkness. A mountain rose up ahead, followed by another. In the far distance, the glittering lights of Seattle shone; a star among the heavens.

A sudden thought struck me. Apparently Jarvis figured it out, too.

"Sir, you do realize that you have no way to removing some of the armor from your body?"

"Yes, I realized. Thank you, Jarvis."

Griffin

I dropped the Paladin off somewhere a few miles off the coast of Puerto Rico and instantly brought myself back to my cave in Egypt. Yes, I lived in a cave. But what does it matter, when you've got the whole world?

After changing out of my now-wet clothes, I picked up the picture from where I left it on the recliner and brought myself to the spot it showed. In a heartbeat, I found myself looking upon a large field where a lone man stood, in the pouring rain, appearing to talk to no one. I crouched low to the ground and fingered my knife.

It was Nigel, the Paladin I had been tracking for some time now. It seemed too easy. So I waited.

Bella

We returned back to the Cullen's house quickly, leaving the car in their large garage. I gave Edward a wary look, which caused him to chuckle before scooping me up into his arms.

I threw mine around his neck as he ran, holding myself tightly to him.

This was far from my favorite part.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Alice

As Jasper and I walked, the rains began. They were gentle at first, slowly picking up velocity (?).

"There's gonna be some major lightening," I commented as the image flashed through my head.

**With everything being unleashed, I know it works with most of the characters already, but how are Jack Sparrow and Fiddler going to get in?**

Fiddler

I set my knife on the ground beside me, looking closely at the cusser. The clay shell had almost been stripped away on one side, and the vibrations of anything the same size as (or bigger than) a horse would set it off. With exaggerated care, I buried it in the center of the road and backed away. Far away.

My squad was there and waiting for me, the other sapper looking at the small mound over the buried charge wide-eyed. Even among the sappers, there were few of us crazy enough to try using a cusser like that, and fewer still who were lucky enough to survive it.

Emil Blonsky (Abomination)

I was standing in the corridor of a hospital with General Ross, having just been told that there was a situation with some kind of mutant developing in Washington. My fight with the Hulk would have to wait until after that. No matter, there was every possibility that the Hulk would show up anyway. After all, it was a small town that I was meant to go to.

Running through the trees to get to the baseball field was one of my favorite parts, considering I had Bella near me the whole time. Thinking about this, i slowed down a little. Rain and wind were dropping and pushing against us, but it wasnt much of a deal for me, but with Bella, just about anything could be. I looked down at her and kissed her on her forehead. She looked up with a weary smile.

"Are we there yet?"

"Not just yet, love." i replied, starting to run again.

Billy, I've never read any books with Fiddler, so I'm not quite sure what to tell you. Is his world like ours, or completely different (geographically-wise). As for Jack...I don't really know about him, either. I'll post in the DT after this post and shoot off a few ideas.

Jasper Hale

I glanced at Alice, then at the sky. "Well, the more lightning, the more thunder."

Together we set up the field like it was every time. I grabbed a bat and swung it experimentally.

"Edward and Bella should be here any second," Alice said, glancing at a spot on the other side of the clearing.

"About time."

Logan (Wolverine)

The last road sign I had caught sight of had said Seattle was still three hundred miles away. So that meant about three hundred miles to Forks. Give or take, I had another fifteen minutes.

Something beeped in my pocket. I dug it out and clicked it on.

"Yeah Storm?"

"The mutant is somewhere in the woods in the outskirts of Forks. You'll probably have to get off your bike."

"Thanks," I said and snapped the phone shut.

Oh btw I know in his profile I said he already knew Clark was the traveler, but I am going to scratch that and put he is still looking for the traveler..it just fits better
Lex Luthor-

The jet began to shake with turbulance as it tore through a storm in the Washington sky. I closed my laptop and set it down on the table in front of me before getting up to ask the pilot how long it would be before we landed. I don't like flying much anymore, not since one of my ex wives left me in a plane with no pilot and I crash landed and was stranded on an island for three months; during which time I went insane.

I was headed to Forks, Washington to see if another one of the stones had been found, something to lead me to the Traveler, or the device to control it. My team had found markings like in the Kuwatchi Caves in some of the trees in Forks and had marked out an area that would be likely to have one of the stones. They were to begin digging when I arrived.

"Captain, when will we be landing?" I asked loosening my tie and rolling the sleeves of my shirt up.

"Any minute now, we have spotted and open feild to land in, near the dig site. It looks like theres some kids down there playing baseball but they'll most likely be leaving because of the storm." I nodded then returned to the main cabin and took a seat. I poured myself a drink then pulled out my cell phone. The team's supervisor until I get there was sending me video and picture upsdates, but there hadn't been any lately.

There was more turbulance the the plane slowly decended. We finally landed and I felt the security of the ground beneath my feet as I stepped onto the lush green grash. It was raining and an umbrella appeared over my head. I didn't bother to look back to see who was holding it, and it followed me as I walked towards the group of kids who now seemed to be arguing over my arrival.

*somebody can talk to him..don't expect him to be nice though, he won't move the jet..he's a meanie..*
All you need is 20 seconds of insane courage, and I promise you something great will come of it.

**I thought that if you were in a different time/dimension, a storm there would just cause a large bolt of "lightening" that would cause you to be thrown into the field. It made sense to me at the time.**

Bella

As Edward and I came to the field, I noticed the large plane that had just landed there.

"What are you doing?" Jasper called, crossing to the man who was stepping out of the plane.

"Landing," the man answered sharply, shoving past Jasper. Alice and Jasper exchanged quick glaces, and Alice turned to Edward, nodding.

Edward sat me down carefully.

"Stay here," he muttered, kissing my forehead before walking toward the plane.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Alice

Jasper had it planned out already. As this man was walking away from his plane, we stepped forward.

Edward and Jasper each grabbed a wing, while I went behind and grabbed the tale.

"Now!" Jasper called, and we lifted the plane into the air. All the people were out of it, so we were safe to, quite literally, throw it where we pleased.

"That way," Edward said, nodding toward the mountains where we hunted. "Run!"

We were back in the clear field in about 15 seconds.

Jasper

I nodded politely to the man. "Sorry sir, but this is our baseball field. Your plane is located about three miles to the west, undamaged."

I felt his anger level rise. With a though, I used my powers to bring them back down. He continued to glare at the three of us.

I moved back to stand by Alice. "Smell that?"

She lifted her head slightly and frowned. "Smells like..."

She and I exchanged glances. "Werewolf...only different."

Logan (Wolverine)

I parked my bike on the side of the road and trudged into the woods. Already, with my enhanced hearing, I was beginning to be able to distinguish muffled voices. I broke out into a sprint, half crouching and half running. If the mutant was here, it wasn't alone.

Tony Stark (Iron Man)

"Sir, look below you."

I glanced down and saw a group of people standing together in a clearing. Four appeared to be teenagers, one was older. In the woods nearby, I spotted movement caused by another older man who was coming up on the clearing at a quick jog.

"Sir, what-"

"Jarvis," I said sternly. "Stop talking."

"As you wish, sir."

Looking down again, I decided to wait to see what happened. I was still hesitant to showing my face but I didn't want to leave, only to find out later that something bad had happened. So I hovered near the clearing so that I couldn't be seen by those there but I could easily watch.

Bella

Edward growled, pushing me behind him instinctively when the scent of werewolf hit his nose.

"That's strange..." Alice muttered, opening her eyes. "I can't see anything, so it must be a werewolf...but it smell so..."

"Wrong." Jasper finished for her.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Alice

I closed my eyes again, still attempting to see into the future.

"Curses..." I muttered when it failed again.

"Stop trying," Edward said from where he stood, protectively in front of Bella. "It's wasting energy, and you might need that energy soon."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Captain Jack Sparrow

I sat at the bar, drinking my rum and talking to the crowd of women that had surrounded Gibbs and I.

"Lucky this is a new port, no?" Gibbs muttered under his breath.

"Aye, my friend," I agreed. "So, there I was, face to face with the demon of the sea. The Kraken!"

The women squealed in false fear, a few of them giggling.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gir

"Gir, stop that," Zim ordered, walking into the living room. I came to a skidding hault in front of him.

"Can I have a cupcake?" I asked, grinning.

"No. Put your suit back on, we're going out."

"But it's rainin!" I pointed out, climbing back into the doggie suit.

"I know that, come on," he replied, grabbing me by the neck of my suit and dragging me out the door.

Jasper

"It can't be a werewolf. It would smell different," I said, frowning. The other man was staring at us as though we had two heads. He had ordered everyone else from the plane to go and see if they could find it. Good luck to them, I said.

I glanced around the clearing but saw no movement besides the five of us standing in it.

"Jasper, do you think you can sense his emotions? I've tried reading his mind and all I got was the name Jean over and over," Edward said, frowning thoughtfully. His eyes never left Bella or the woods.

"I'll try," I said, casting my thoughts outward towards the direction of the scent. I found whatever it was easily, for he was close to the clearing now, no more than 300 feet.

"Well?" Edward and Alice asked at once when I opened my eyes again.

"Whoever it is is sad, that's for sure. I also picked up a bit of annoyance and anger as well. Whoever it is, I don't think it means us much harm."

We all waited in silence, thunder booming in the background. For a moment, a single thought passed through my head just as the figure stepped out of the woods.

"Who are you?" I called loudly.

The man looked up, his eyes traveling over each of us in turn. "My name is Logan."

Just then, a bolt of lightning struck the field. Only I didn't know lightning lasted that long...

Griffin

I watched the Paladin for some time, letting the rain drip down my face and lightning crackle above me. I winced at the sound of electricity. For us Jumpers, electricity was our greatest fear. It rendered us unable to Jump and completely helpless for some time. I hated it.

Suddenly a huge bolt of lightning struck the field, blinding me temporarily. I shielded my eyes and watched as the light gradually died down.

When I took my hand away, I was no longer staring at the same field.

Tony Stark (Iron Man)

The man below emerged into the clearing after a moment. I couldn't see his face because of the darkness.

"Sir, the lightning is getting very close. I suggest landing or-"

"Jarvis."

"Sorry, sir."

Suddenly a huge bolt of lightning charged past me and into the field below, throwing me off balance. I flipped once and was sent crashing to the ground before I could stop. I landed somewhere in the middle of the field, I think, but I couldn't be sure since I was still temporarily blinded by the lightning.

There were a great number of voices talking at once. I think one was asking for tacos...

**Sasquash, if you wanted to do the lightning/dimension switch then I'll happily delete my post. This was just my excuse to stay up longer. :)

**That makes sense, Maybe, the books are really hard to find. But his world is completely different to ours geography-wise, although the bolt of lightning seems to do the trick.**

Fiddler

I could heard horses galloping down the road - at least a full strength cavalry company. I picked up the cards in front of me, as well as my day's winnings, and crouched further down the road, far enough to be safe from the cusser's blast. Just in case, I fitted a sharper into my crossbow, that was the next best thing to take out soldiers.

The first line of horses came into view, the lead rider clearly a mage. I cursed, scrambling away: if the man had a spell ready, the blast would cover twice as much space.

He gave a shout, seeing my movement, and tapped into his warren. A burst of fire surged towards me, and I threw myself to the ground, feeling the initial wave singing my cloak, followed by the deafening roar of the cusser. I looked up, somewhat unwisely, to see the detonation soaring skywards. I frowned - something was very, very wrong.

There was a bright flash of magic mixed with the alchemical explosion of the cusser, and then I found myself not on a dirt track, but in the middle of some kind of diamond field. I checked my crossbow. The fact that the sharper hadn't gone off was a mystery to me, but one I was grateful for. If it had, I would have been killed for sure.

Emil Blonsky (Abomination)

A blinding flash of lightning lit up in a baseball field off to the right of the road, and I blinked as it filled the windshield of the Hummer. I opened my eyes to see that it was still there, and growing. I shouted to the driver to head in that direction, and he veered off the road.

The Hummer crashed through the picket fence surrounding the field and screeched to a halt. The lightning had begun to ebb away, and I could see several people standing around the diamond, most looking like they'd been about to play a game, while one or two looked like they'd just arrived. A strangely garbed man was pushing himself to his feet, an oversized crossbow in one hand and a broken violin strapped to his back.

**Oh sweet!!!**

Gir

Zim and I walked down the street.

"It's daaaark!" I whined, jumping with another crash of thunder.

"Quiet, Gir."

Just then a large flash went off.

"I want tacos!" I whined again as the light disappeared. Zim was gone, and I was in a large field. There were a bunch of people I didn't know.

"Hey you!" I said, looking up at a tall hooman with golden eyes and brown hair. "Do you has the little tacos?!" I asked, cocking my head.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Captain Jack Sparrow

A lass brought me another rum, and I continued with my story.

"It had been unusually....dark, that night," I began, smiling and taking a sip of my rum. Then the lightening struck.....

...."Oh, that was quite some blackout," I commented, sitting up. "Well, this is a strange predicament," I noted, looking around the large field I was in.

Some....one had landed beside me, wearing a large metal outfit of sorts. The poor lad seemed to have landed quite hard.

"Excuse me," I said, tugging on the pantleg of the man who stood beside me. The only thing I could see about him was his large, metallic...claws? "Yes, you -- do you have any rum? This poor chap certainly looks like he could use it."

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bella

Edward wrapped himself around me protectively as the lightening hit, his whole body growing rigid with fear.

>.< I'm out of ideas now. Nothing for Alice, sorry. Um, just so you know, Gir was talking to Edward, and Jack was talking to Logan and guesturing toward Tony.
