Go ahead. I'm interested in how people will respond to this. Do some people class certain actions as flirting and other people don't? How do you know if you're flirting-do you sometimes flirt unintentionally?
For me flirting has to be an intentional thing... It's when you do something specifically to get the person's attention in a more than friend sort of way...

I flirt unitentionally all the time. But then again, what is flirting? In my opinion flirting is just when you do something to get someones attention by being really nice and doing/saying something extra like DuskGlimmer said...but I don't think it has to be intentional--at least not all the time. For instance, sometimes I turn guys on just by looking at them...and they think I'm trying to flirt but really--I'm just looking. I guess anybody can take something and say its flirting..it probably just depends on what the person thinks. I don't think there's really a right or wrong.
When you are interested in a person and start acting like you are interested in a person by small means of batting eyelashes (for chicks, usually), small touches, laughter and undivided attention to the focus point.
Or something like that.
There's really no way to "act like your flirting" unless you are.
I'm not even angry... I'm being so sincere right now.
Even though you broke my heart.
And killed me... And tore me to pieces.
And threw every piece into a fire.

IMO, flirting is when you say or do things to indicate you like someone or are attracted to them. Looking at someone is not flirting, and those guys are stupid lol. I look at everyone, and I tend to look at people who look weird as much as I look at hot people, so I hope looking around isn't flirting.
Of course, if you were licking your lips or winking or something while you were looking, that would be a different story.
