How many lucid dreams have you had?

I'm bored, so I thought I'd start up a poll (hey, gotta love polls ).

The question is simple enough - how many lucid dreams (or LD's for short) have you roughly had?
For those not in the know: A lucid dream is a dream in which you are aware that you are deaming. So - have you had one? More than one? Vote, cos I wanna know .

I'd also like to know if you got your lucid dreams naturally, or if you used a technique.

For those who are curious, I've had over 50 LD's . The vast majority of which where achieved by using a technique (though I've had a couple naturally).

Over fifty, comes naturally. And If I am aware I am dreaming, I can wake myself up.

Yeah, it' easy enough to wake yourself up (there's loads and loads of ways of doing so). But it's also kinda of pointless .

I put two or three because sometimes when I was little I used to wake myself up from nightmares. I haven't done it in a long time, though.

I get maybe over fifty or so. It comes naturally to me. I don't know why, but in most of my dreams I know that I am dreaming, and I always try to wake myself up by trying to open my eyes or move over (the impact always wakes me up...)

I've never had one, so it's kind of hard for me to imagine what it's like, or believe that it's even possible. I mean, I've had dreams in which my cats were in the janitor's closet at school, talking to me, and I still didn't realize it was a dream until the afternoon the next day. What are some of the techniques used so you'll have a lucid dream?

Midnight: an LD is just a dream in which you know that you are dreaming .

Reichieru: It's certainly posssible. And you don't have to take my word for it - it's been scientifically proven .

I had one when I was younger but I didn't even know what a lucid dream was so nothing much happened. I've had two where I was actually lucid for a substantial amount of time before waking up more recently, and a couple where I end up just waking up after becoming lucid.

Oh, I know it's possible. Just hard to believe that it is.

They're my most common type of dream, it might be to do with the fact I think of stories in my head before sleeping. I always have that thing as well when you trip over in the dream but when that happene you move yourself to stop it and the jerk wakes me up.

Well, I just voted that I had one, but that's not true. I've had a couple, but one I was trying for.

i'm the only one to have had "up to fifty!"

I have lucid dreams quite frequently. I'm not a heavy sleeper. I'm, like, aware of the fact that I'm sleeping, though it's like being heavaly doped. Everything's fuzzy. Can't think clearly. But, I know it's a dream.
