Newbie Alert!!!

Hey people! I'm new here, and a little confused. :/ But that's okay, I'm sure I'll get the hang of it!

Anyways, I've joined other writing sites before, but in all of them I was one of the few teenagers. It was odd, since most of those people had degrees and masters in the English language while I haven't even graduated Middle School yet.

I love your avatar by the way. You'll find we have a big crowd here: teens, older people, college students. We're all nice though, and no one bites! (usually.) What genre do you write? How did you find the YWS? ^^ I'm nosy.

You don't need to be confused. PM me if you have any questions. Or just ask anyone with a coloured name, they'll be happy to help you with anything you're having trouble with.

So what do you like reading and writing?

I'd recommend you have a look at the rules soon, but I'll just tell you about our reviewing rule. We like people two make two reviews before they post a work of their own, and then keep it at 2:1. I'm sure you'll be fine, but occasionally new member don't know.

There's no need to be confused. We have Rules, Guides and FAQ (wink wink ) and besides, lots of friendly people who are willing to help anybody! I'm sure all the people here are able to help you, but I think you'd better ask anyone with coloured name, that way you'll surely get what you want, haha

So, tell us something about yourself. What do you read, write, eat? Any favourite authors? Do you have hobbies? Pets? Any info is great, this is your topic, after all! And how did you find YWS? I agree, this will be most likely the best writing site you'll ever have luck to come across with!

Hi Patience and welcome to YWS!! Don't worry, you'll figure it out soon enough. Just make sure you do 2 reviews before posting your own work and check out the "About" section, with all the FAQs and Guides and Rules and...Penguins. I don't think there's any penguins there, but you should double check. Because having penguins in our FAQ section would be awesome.
