We come to it at last - the great question of life and death. Star Wars or Lord of the Rings? I mean in terms of films - you can't really compare a book to a film!

Star Wars is great and all, but Lord of the Rings is probably the ultimate movie and book series ever. I doubt there will ever be anything like them again and Star Wars can't hold a lightsaber to it.

Just my opinion though.

If we're talking about the old star wars trilogy, then I'd cast my vote on that...I think it's one of the finest trilogies ever made.

No disrespect to LOTR of course, I like them, but I like reading the books better.
