Scissors, needles 'left behind' after caesarean

May 26, 2005

TEHRAN: A pair of scissors and four needles have been recovered from inside the belly of an Iranian woman six years after she gave birth by caesarean section, the Iran newspaper reported.

The report said the unnamed woman from the western town of Marivan in Kurdistan province had complained of chronic abdominal pains -- prompting the discovery of leftover tools.

The doctor who performed the caesarean is now facing legal action, the paper said.

ow  this just proves no good can come from childbirth

Another thing, how did they leave it there and why did it take six years? Would it take that long to cause her pain?

That is simply disgusting. How could anyone be so careless?
Please, sit down before you fall down.

They were probably positioned in a safe place which didn't make her notice. The same thing kind of happened to me except it involved money, a pool, and 3 months
