"I shouldn't have done that, I'm leaving in a week and..."
I sat up sharply and glared at him.
"You're the one who-" I didn't even finish my sentence, I could feel the tears coming. I wouldn't let him see me cry. I got up and ran from the apartment. Found a bus and got on it.

He let me in and kissed me. It was a tad too fast, but I loved it. His dark hair covering his face made him look so attractive and sexy, but those blue eyes made him look innocent. It was like that we were in high school wild and crazy, out there in the world.
"Would you like some coffee?"
"No thanks I'm not that thirsty,"I answered
We engaged in conversation for about twenty minutes. Then, spontaneously he grabs my hand and tells me to follow him. He take me to the roof. I was amazed I could see all of NYC from here, plus the stars. It was my paradise.
"Its beautiful, Tristan!" I gushed
"Just like you," he answered
I turned to look at him and he turned to look at me. He said the right thing. I just went and kissed him and he kissed me back. After we slept on the roof for the rest of the night. In his arms. It was heaven.
Character is what you have left when you've lost everything you can lose. - Evan Esar

Laykin sat in a comfy chair in her favorite coffee shop of the city, checking the clock as she waited to meet her brother. Her short brown hair was adorned with a white headband, and she wore a pair of jeans and a white and blue three quarter sleeve striped shirt. A small child climbed around on her lap, barely able to do much but be on it's knees with it's hands on the arm of the chair. The child had a hold of one of Lake's fingers strongly with one of it's small hands. The baby was a new addition to her family, and she had actually just returned from Tanzania with the child in tow two days ago. She wasn't planning on keeping the orphan child, but she was in need of a surgery doctor's without boarders won't risk in third world countries and Lake agreed to be her guardian for the trip.
The child cooed slightly as she watched all the people shuffling around her. She was dressed in a small yellow sundress and a pair of white sandals, her very short brown curls chose to curl in the oddest directions and blew a bit with the wind of the opening and closing of the cafe door. Her big brown eyes and dark skin were complimented gorgeously by the yellow, and for a second Laykin congratulated herself on her ability to dress children.
Lake took a sip on her hot chocolate (she was never really one for coffee unless she was in desperate need of caffeine) and glanced up to the clock again. She was a bit early, but Kaleb usually was too so she expected him any time now.

**Sorry about that, Vampy and Aestar. I just fixed my little mix up there. Dunno what to do with Jeremy right now though**
Tristan
I held her in my arms, stroking her hair until she fell asleep.
After a while, I realized that it was nearly 2 in the morning. Careful not to wake her, I lifted Azure into my arms and carried her back to my apartment. I laid her on my bed, covering her up and lying down beside her.
Kaleb quickly walked into the coffee shop. SO much had happened he had almost forgotten that he was supposed to meet Lake there. He ran a hand through his unrurly hair as he looked around. He smiled when he spotted her with a little child on her lap smiling like she had the biggest lollipop in the world. He walked over and squatted down in front of the child smiling.
"Well, whose this little one." He smiled reaching his hand out like he would shake her hand. The girl looked up at Lake surprised.
He kissed me back and held me close. We had stopped dancing in the mass of bodies around us. I wound my fingers through his dark brown hair.
I pulled away slowly so I could look at him. "I... Uh, I'm" I didn't know what to say. He was looking at my with tantelizing eyes and I smiled

Some say laughing is the best medicine but what do you do when you can't laugh anymore?
Multiple personalities are just good social skills.
I laughed lightly, "I think it's fun. It gets me away from writing so I don't go completely crazy." I smiled.
"What about you? What do you do to get away?" He thought for a minute and then turned back to me.
"Come on. I'll show you." He took my hand and led me out of the club.

He looked nervous, I smiled at him, "Yeah, some." He smiled then.
"Mind if I see yours?" I asked, hopeful.
His green eyes glittered, "Yeah, come on." He led me to an apartment building and up the stairs to apartment 206. He unlocked the door and took my hand in his again.
He opened the door and took mr into the living room. He had a nice leather couch and Plasma TV.
"Hold on I'll be right back." He told me. I watched him leave the room and then I sat down onto the inviting couch.

I slipped back into my bedroom, returning to the living room with a box full of video games.
"These are most of them," I said, sitting the box on the coffee table in front of the couch. She leaned forward to look at the box, while I sat on the couch and watched her.
