Tanner~

Tanner walked with the group, the wind blowing east. The wind shifted and Tanner stopped at once, her ears twitching as her the fur along the ridge of her spine rose. She turned her snout to the sky, inhaling the sent. "Vampire..." She hissed, pointing east, her tail straight up in alarm as the others stopped. "Vampire and a faerie." She growled, lowering her head and staring into the dense forest. She motioned for the other "pups" to stay behind as she cautiously neared the supposively vampire, that was out of sight. She snarled in warning, trying to make it leave.

Tim----

Tim groaned inwardly. "Get ready to take off, Angel, I don't want you getting hurt." He said softly. The werewolf sniffed a few times and got closer growling. He stepped back further into the shadows and watched.


Angel----

Angel climbed up to the stop of his shirt peeking out his coller. "This can't be good." She whispered softly.

Tanner~

Tanner looked back swiftly. The 'pups' had stayed and were now trying to see into the forest. Tanner could tell the vampire didn't want to be caught. She exhaled and glared up at the vampire, knowing he was closer than the others thought. "You owe me for this," she whispered lowly to him, turning around and howling loudly. "It's headed North! Get it!" She howled and the pups took off, ready for a chase. "Like I said...you owe me," she growled, running after the pups. After about two miles she stopped them and growled lowly.

"We lost them. Head back to camp," she growled, the pups whined in utter disappointment and headed back to the camp, tails between their legs. "Pick up some food on the way," Tanner warned, turning and walking after them, much slower though.

Tanner shifted to her human form as the others disappeared and stuck her hands in her pockets, slowly walking through the forest and back to camp, the vampire and faerie's debt still in her mind.

I sniffed, feeling slightly animal, but caught something. It smelled like dog, but also something small, sweet. Jarian (her trainer) Had described something like this, sweet inocent-I thought it was a fairy, but something else covered it, Powerful, sickly sweet. I shook my head, a fairy and a vampire? no, it must be something different I decided. but the werewolves, those I had to find. one of them could be jarian's killer. I made my way slowly in the direction the smell had come from.

Tanner~

Tanner stopped and yawned, covering her mouth. She sat down on a rock that overlooked a lake with the reflection of the moon and sighed, thinking about everything at once. Freda suddenly appeared, hugging Tanner's arm and smiling. "Ello Freda," Tanner greeted with a smile, making the small creature giggle. "I'm glad you didn't come out when the other wolves were around...I would've gotten in trouble," she smiled, patting the ball of fur on its head. Another scent drifted her way. Tanner couldn't seem to get the thought of the vampire out of her head. She thrashed her head angrily and looked back up at the moon, leaning back slightly.

I went to follow the vampite, but I had to find out what a fairy was doing with a were-wolf. I was too curius to not find out. I headed twored the vampire, I saw him and was about to talk to him, ask him if he had a faiy, but I chikened out. no, I told myself, not chikened. I felt it more important to find the wolf, I could find this vampire anytime, it was the wolf I needed to find. slowly I retraced my steps, I found the track and followed it. Soon i came upon what looked like a pack, I watched for a bit, then slowly started to climb down. soon I was standin on the ground ready to fight the beast, my hand was poised over the hilt of my sword...ready to kill.

Tanner~

Tanner sighed and stood, walking back towards the pack. The two alphas were snarling viciously and an elf was standing in front of them. Tanner snarled and jumped down from the ridge, landing in front of the alphas facing the girl. Wait...this is the girl from long ago! Her mind flickered back to the day her parents took her out on their first raid. An old man, Jarian, was his name, tried to stop them from getting to his apprentice. Her father killed Jarian and left the girl to Tanner. Tanner remembered being to soft and letting the girl go. Bad mistake.

"If you're looking for the wolf that killed you...trainer of whatever, he died. A while ago on a raid through elven territory. Along with his mate. Unless you want to be killed by the jaws or hands of the killer's daughter I suggest you stand down and leave," Tanner sneered, on the borderline of transforming.

"I'm not afraid of you, wolf." I said, pulling out my sword.I looked deep into her eyes, they burned into my memory, she had let me go. that much I remembered, But they had still taken jarian. we stared at each other for a while, and finally my anger subdued, she didnt kill jarian, she had saved me. I lowered my sword and looked at her. She was at least five years older than me, she could probably beat me if I challenged her so I sheathed my sword. feeling like a compleate idiot, but still remebering everything jarian had told me. "dont make enemy's out of people who could be your friend, offer them a hand shake, instead of a battle." so I stuck my hand out and smiled.
"Hi, i'm Adrian. I dont feel like fighting you. " I looked around. small dogs were all over, staring at me, some even growling. "um...sooo...whats your name." I Felt like jumping off a cliff, how stupid did i sound?! I looked at her, she gave me the kind of look you give someone when you think thier crazy. so I added: "I'm not leaving till I find out."

Tanner~

Tanner looked between Adrian's hand and her face, thinking. "Tanner, daughter of Tyar and Haylen." She answered formally, shaking the girl's hand. She looked around at the wolves behind her. "Do you think our guest could stay the night? It is almost high moon and I'll make sure she doesn't try anything," Tanner offered, looking at the alpha.

"Fine...just keep her away from the main den," the male alpha growled demandingly.

"Yes sir," Tanner bowed and grabbed the girl's wrist pulling her to the den on the outside of the main dens. "This is where I stay. I don't usually sleep over there because I don't like to disturb them. You can stay here for the night...if you promise not to do anything funny," Tanner climbed ontop of the den and pointed to the inside. "A cot stole from a wagon. Sleep on it if you want," she smiled lightly, watching Adrian's every move.
