High School Vacation

Colt----

Colt smiled, "I'm not about to leave you hanging." He said leading her towards the bonfire. "We should probably make sure your brother hasn't gotten in to much trouble while at the bonfire though." He laughed softly.

Aurora:

I smiled sadly. "Of course he has." I growled. "He always does, without any thought to anyone else. He doesn't care, as long as he's pleasing himself." My fists tightened. It made me so mad! I mean, I loved my brother, but he was an A class jerk.

Cara~

I glared at him. "She won't love you too much after a while Brian. Remember that." I said grabbing my shorts and bag. "Just one question Brian; did she tell you she loved you back?" I looked over my shoulder at him. He thought for a minute.

Colt---

Colt grabbed Aurora's hands and kissed the tip of her nose. "Relax, he'll get burned and then learn to behave." He said softly. "Don't let him ruin your time." He smiled at her as they got closer to the bonfire. Music was blaring and he spun her around laughing.

Brian:

I shuffled my feet. "No." I admitted reluctantly.

She smirked. "Then what have you got to lose?"

I growled. "Why do you want me anyways, Cara?! You know what I'm like! You know what I've done! Why do you want me?!"

Cara~

I scowled, "Because I've been with you since the beginning! And then some girl scout come along and you forget who you are!" I looked away. I was always suposed to be calm and sexy. Yelling was deffinately wasn't calm or sexy at them moment.

Brian:

I smirked. I couldn't help it. It was so fun teasing girls. "Don't like the competition, gorgeous?" I smiled. I did like Cara. She was the girl I normally went for. even when we dated, we both did it with other people just for the fun of things. I sighed. "Cara, I just...want something different. something that I know will last."

Aurora:

I laughed loudly, and spun around like a little girl, not caring what people thought. I spun into Colt's arms. "You are so wonderfully sweet." I smiled.

Cara~

I was glad that my face was turned from him. My eyes started to well up with tears. I slowly put my shorts on, still not looking at him.
"You never know when anything will last Brian." I said trying to keep my voice steady. I started towards the door, hoping he would stop me.

Colt----

Colt had never heard that before. "Thanks." He breathed smiling down at her. A slow song started and he took her hand bowing towards it. "Can I have this dance, miss?"

Brian:

I growled. I hated it when people cried. I grabbed Cara's hand and pulled her to me, kissing the top of her head. "Cara. I'm...Izm sorry. Really. I do like you. I just...donzt think I can trust you!"

Aurora:

I blushed. "Of course." I dropped a curtsy, and laughed again. I glared. "Would you stop making me laugh?! I hate my laugh."

Cara~

I nodded, "You like me but you don't love me." His arms tightened around me. This had never happened to me before. I tried to hold in my anger, hurt and sadness. I thought about Felicity and almost lost it.

Brian:

"Yeah." I said slowly. "I donzt love you." I sighed. "Cara, sometimes you have to let go of the past in order to have a future. That's something I had to learn the hard way."

Colt----

COlt looked at her surprised. "But it is an amazing life," He smiled wrapping his arms around her waist and holding her gently.

Cara~

I looked up at him, not caring if he saw me at my weakest moment. "I supose your right but I'll still love you Brian." I kissed him for the last time in only a while, I hoped. I was wishong he'd come to his senses and come back to me but I still kissed him. Since it'd be a while before we kissed again I put as much passion as I could.
