v vs w II

I moved my hand from my face and my eyes were shining blue like crystals. I can't beleive I was in love with someone I almost killed. I smiled at her.

The ground was dirt, it was cold and I was frozen. I looked up at him.

"What?" I said.

"Nothing nevermind." He smiled. "So what are our chances of leaving today?"

"Not good unless you want to walk in the dark." I said, even though I could see in the dark, the shack didn't even have a light. My eyes were green and yellow like a cats.

"Well you're a cat, you can see in the dark right?"

"Yeah, so?" I smiled, what was he getting at? "But that doesn't mean I'd be able to protect you." I pointed a finger. "So which is it? Stick it out until morning or go right now, your choice." I said.

"I'm a vampire. Creature of the night?" I said. "Oh yeah." She said again. I held my head down. And muttered "I love you." It was true.

"What?" I jerked my head up.

"Nothing, I just..... coughed." He lied.

I'd heard him perfectly clear I just wanted to actually hear him say it.

"So, are we going? Or should we sleep right here?" I asked.

"Sleep here is fine." I said. "If only I could sleep..." I said.
"What are you talking about?"She asked.
"Im a vampire, I don't sleep. Hell, I can try but I'll end up just laying there all night." I said.
"You need your rest Though I suppose." I said.

"Please." I said. "I'm a were-cat, I'm always up for the challenge. I don't need sleep. I just might get a little irratable." I said.

"Oh so this is just phase one?" He joked.

"Shut up, let's go." I said standing up and dusting off my ass.

"Are you sure?" He asked.

"It's better than laying in dirt all night." I said.

"We don't need to walk." I said. She looked at my questioningly. "How about I show you another of my secrets, besides being a vampire." I said to her. I walked her outside and rapped my arms around her."What are you doi-" She was cut off when I spread wings out from my back. Long black torn up wings. I jumped in the air and started speeding through the air. "Can ya' hold on Cat?" I said. "Don't worry, if you fall you'll land on your feet" I joked. I wasn't making this any easier for her.

I laughed, it was a long time I had done so.

"Cats always land on their feet. I always land on my ass." I said truthfully.

The as akward as it was we flew....

"This is gonna be awkward coming from me now but.." I said and took a moment to think about what I was doing. "I love you."I said finally. She just looked at me with her mouth open. "I thought you liked that Draive girl." She said.
"I thought I did, but after seeing you, I know otherwise." I said. Wow, I ended up falling in love with someone I almost killed.

"This is gonna be awkward coming from me now but.." I said and took a moment to think about what I was doing. "I love you."I said finally. She just looked at me with her mouth open. "I thought you liked that Draive girl." She said.
"I thought I did, but after seeing you, I know otherwise." I said. Wow, I ended up falling in love with someone I almost killed.

I smiled and exhaled, was it possible to be fightend and happy at the same time?

"What are you thinking?" I asked when he was silent.

I looked down at her and said "I'm thinking we got off on the wrong foot." I said and kissed her lightly.

I stiffend at the touch at first but then I drew back.

"We can't." I whispered.

"Why not?" He asked his face very close to mine.

"We're just too different, and I remember 5 hours ago we tried to kill each other." I wasn't saying I didn't want to.... I wanted to be with him very much but it was true, maybe I was just putting a road block between us.... COWARD I whispered in my mind.

I looked at Jared as if he was crazy. "Both of us be leader?" When he nodded all I could do was look at him with the oddest expression. He wanted to leader with me? That would mean we'd have to get married... I was set to marry Tobi but I loved taking care of my clan. I was torn.
