I smiled (well, half sneered) when Carlisle walked in the room.
We had been friends since we were children, and he (he and Lottie) were the only ones I talked to without completely verbally destroying them.
"What's wrong with Lottie?" I asked, just a bit concerned, The girl was rather hard to keep track of, there was no telling what she had gotten herself into now.

I think both Erin and Zen are in classes. The story seemed to have moved on, lol. Let's say Erin and Zen haven't seen each other since he walked her to class.

I giggled, "A water baby is someone who can have fins or legs."I said. She looked confused. "It's like the mythological creature the mermaid in the human world but we can have legs to, like now. You want to see?" I asked her.

She only went to her first class yesterday. She came home with dripping wet hair. So I can only imagine that she went off swimming, but she wouldn't tell me. I have no idea what to do." I told Malachi this quickly. He'd know her since she was young. He knew what sort of trouble she usually got into.

I smiled at him, laughing softly. I had never had a child, but I had watched my sister with her two, a boy and a girl who were now out of school. I pitied Carlisle, I really did.
"It's possible. But I don't think so. But Lottie's a sweet girl, Carl. And she has your sense. I wouldn't worry too much."
